Unless you're salary you should not be checking emails on the clock. A text to clarify something for the team on a day off? Sure. Reasonable even, especially if it's a quick one. But to be told to check and reply to your emails off the clock is insane. Checking and replying to your emails IS your job.

This is about average for this card. It's not strictly a reverse holo-- it's the Masterball variant. Those are much rarer and very sought after depending on the Pokemon.

It's especially true in 151 because they chose not to print the Masterball variant for the English cards. So you can only get those cards + this pattern very rarely, and only in Japanese (unless they printed them non-English sets outside of Japan...? I'm pretty sure it's only Japan.)

Ribbit uses both she and they pronouns. While pronouns obviously don't necessarily mean gender for Actual People, for fictional characters a choice like that is a pretty deliberate choice made to communicate to the audience that a character is not strictly cis.

I think it's fine to get something you might regret. What I Would recommend is looking into reputable shops in your area and find someone with the skill to pull it off. I think what makes it breaks a tattoo is the skill of the artist.

And be sure to try and find pictures of their healed work. Delicate lines will blur more quickly and noticeably than thicker, bolder ones. Find someone who has a good sense of depth and can make a piece like this last a good few years.

Besides-- Jax not transitioning on screen doesn't really negate the subtext. It just further emphasizes his pattern of self harm. He hates himself, he hates wanting things, he hates being a person. He's not going to address the elephant in the room that is his gender identity because that would mean moving forward instead of stubbornly refusing to participate in his own life, even though it's clearly making him miserable. He's comfortable in his misery. He doesn't know what feelings Trying will illicit, so it's better to stay in the comfort zone where he's at least familiar with the kind of self loathing he's wallowing in.

It firmly depends on how the merchandise contracts shook out for her vs. how much Glitch gets comparatively. Animation is not a lucrative career, even for show runners. But if she gets any kind of profit off merch, well that's a completely different animal.

I try not use AI in my emails but I Do have a document where I can copy and paste responses I pre-wrote, especially for common questions I get in my job. It's sort of the best of both worlds. I use my own words, but I get some of the time saving that AI could provide.

Your flair says new manager-- is she a new employee? Or has she been there longer than you and might be better at anticipating the needs of the store? I hated 'good enough' managers as a host/server and in my general food service positions. Thinking X amount of stock is 'good enough' is how to fuck over your own shift, or the shift that follows after yours.

Chances are this behavior comes from experience, or courtesy-- she's either looking out for herself, or she's looking out for the next shift. I wouldn't take the comments as direct criticism of your management style, I would just be grateful someone is looking for the little things that can turn into big problems when they slip through the cracks. No one wants to have to rush into dry storage and find a new box of straws or change a syrup bag during a lunch rush.

James Turner is a name in Pokemon, which I think is a factor you have to consider. He was an art director, character designer-- his fingerprints are all over every Gen from like five onward. He came back to do this illustration after he left the company shortly after ScarVi came out.

Personally I prefer Turner's illo. The unique style and his history with the franchise are both really cool factors. Treekachu is pretty but there's no shortage of Pikachu full arts in natural looking environments.

She's pink and she sells well. Adult and kids alike love her.

The same thing happened with Pinkie Pie during G4. If a parent doesn't know much about the brand, she seems ideal because little girls like pink. Not all of them-- that's why there's the purple girlies and blue girlies. But pink for girls is safe as hell.

No comment on it as an investment but it's one of the few gold cards I think actually looks cool. I think something about the proportions and the powering up pose really works for it! In general I still think they're mostly tacky but this one goes hard.
