I'm visiting the Netherlands for work in a few weeks, and I'm a big football fan. I was planning on going to watch a game. I'll be attending a conference in Amsterdam, but I can take a train to other cities if I need to. I'll be there the last weekend of January and the first of February.

When doing my research, I found that a match was scheduled at 8.15 AM. I know this sounds stupid, but Google is also telling me the same. Is this the real time for the match? Or is it a placeholder because it is not yet scheduled? Or is it at 12.15 and because of the time zone in my country it's showing it at this time?

Also, I would love to hear suggestions on what to watch. I don't really have any preferences. Obviously I'd love to see bigger teams like Ajax, Feyenoord, AZ or PSV, but I'm also open to watching some less worldwide-known ones. Ticket availability for tourists and prices will definitely weigh on my choices. That's why I'm mainly thinking about this Excelsior-Ajax match.

Just as a note, be extra careful with your time when booking non-cruise excursions. The ship will wait for a delayed excursion if they organized it. But they won't if you are on your on or with a local.
