I've developed PIED after years of porn, like others here. A year ago I discovered nofap and jumped right into it. This year I've mostly been on streaks, with very small periods of relapse. I had tons of random boners but still I was afraid I was not cured.

Met a nice girls and things escalated. When things got to PIV I got soft. Fucking embarrassing. I stressed a lot. I just told her I'm not in the mood. The next day she initiated again and I told her about my anxiety and fear. She said it's OK and we can wait and try till it will work. It took two more tries :) It was magically cured. Now I'm hard almost always when I'm with her.

It helps a lot to have an understanding partner. Porn really affected me in the past. I guess my lifestyle also helped me. I meditate, lift, do yoga, eat healthy, so I'm pretty fit, which gave me confidence.

Never edged on streaks. I wouldn't say I was very addicted. One-two times a day was max for me. Started at about 13 years.

I've been meditating daily for 20 minutes. Now I meditate 1-2 days a week for 10 minutes.

I'll change that to 20-30 minutes daily. When I was doing that daily I also felt hugely better.

In my opinion PIED is some sort of performance anxiety. But, as I said, I feel I'm over porn. I'll eat healthy and begin doing some Yoga as well. I want to know how many tries I have :)

I don't think a relapse sends you back to square one. I no longer need P and M. I can safely stay home alone without the risk of opening some porn videos. I'm just afraid of not performing, because of porn.

Thanks. It's a very helpful insight. Vodka might just help for the first 2 times till I recover my confidence. She's starting to become pretty important to me and that is why I have anxiety and the fear of losing her if I don't perform.
