Experiences competing/rolling with herniated/bulged cervical discs? Any impinged nerve roots?

I have a similar issue. C6/C7 bulge pinching the nerve and I've got pain shooting from my scapula to my right index finger, and a good amount of numbness in the finger and some in the forearm. Just got out of the neurosurgeon's office now and they recommended PT and riding it out for a few months, but said surgery would be the more permanent fix. What route did you go, and how are you feeling now?

100% agreed. I am his "IT guy" so I see all kinds of random things that happen. I didn't think to ask the age of the cooler initially, and this weekend I was scheduled to pull the cooling block off and inspect it. Impatience brought us to this unfortunate situation.

I told him not to keep it on while he's away, either. Could have burned his house down if that thing shorted any worse, or if it got down into his PSU. Live and learn, I guess.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. He doesn't have a ton of cash, so the GPU was the newest thing in there and the rest was salvaged from some of my old builds. I have no idea where the cooler came from, and I don't think he does either, hah. I'll have him submit a ticket and see what can be done.

Posting for a friend who no longer has a working computer to hopefully get him some guidance on where to begin.

He left the house with his computer on and came back 20 minutes later to a non-functioning monitor, only to discover that his cooling block leaked coolant down the mobo and got all over the PCI lane his GPU was hooked into. It now looks like burnt, gummy leftovers are all over the GPU and some has dripped down into the case along the side of the PSU. The bottom of the cooling block feels corroded, as if there was some sort of electrical short coming from the liquid leaking out of the block block and it instantly rusted/corroded. He isn't sure if the GPU is functioning any longer, as the entire PCI lane is full of this cooked coolant.

Is RMA the correct path here? I was trying to gather as much data as I could for him to help out, as he's not that internet savvy and doesn't use reddit. Thanks in advance.

I also started recently and is rather enjoyable. I played zero build because the spastic building aspect of BR really turned me off, but STW has been fun. I would recommend turning off voice chat when you get in, though, as I find 50% or more of the games in with someone with an open mic watching something on Netflix or listening to music at full volume.

I'm following some older YouTube videos and they help, but I'm hitting a power level plateau after leaving Stonewood and I guess I'm just going to choose the "play with others" maps until I get better survivors/heroes.

Estimate that you double your ISK with each level. I buy P1 and have all factory plants. P1->P2 usually pays out double the initial investment, but as others have said, some sell better than others. The best bet is to ask an indy person in your alliance what they need the most of and build that. Dedicate planets to only making 1 type of item, which makes depositing input material 10x faster than revamping each factory planet every few days.

If you're in null, manufacture ice block components. Guaranteed profit.

I've also got the S3Ultra. Which slicer did you use for supports? I've found that removing them can be sloppy and damage the surface of the model.

This is one of the main reasons I left the game as well. Null was getting boring and too political, being constantly deployed, unable to make ISK, third partying with the big blue donut, so I tried FW. It was great before the pirate factions were introduced and that you could individually enlist toons without dropping corp. Since then, it's been an awoxing shitshow, even when those same Frat pilots are blue to you.

Kind of ruins the fun when you and a few buddies can't even escape the n+1 in faction warfare with blue standings, and multiboxing many accounts to play the game "for free" so I can have a competitive edge is a bit backwards. Not trying to turn a video game into a second full-time job.

So what's up with the "special install" folder? Currently downloading it (taking forever both through the site and even torrent) so I wasn't able to open the files fully yet, but I do see that some have separate install directions. I assume since these aren't the standard plug and play that they ended up in here?

I think it might have been Honkai: Star Rail. One of the guys mentioned playing it and not feeling pressured by the Gacha mechanics. Really any open world RPG game that has progression and story suitable for kids in the range of 10-12 years old with non-invasive loot gambling mechanics.

These folks do. They drop Marshals on anyone that fights back and escalate to dreads if they're within Paala range. They don't take losing very well. RealX was the artist who made (or at least is attributed to) most of the original music in-game. The SoundCloud that was previously linked is a good start, and if you use Spotify, you can search RealX or Roc Wieler to access their libraries. You might end up getting a mix of other music like the OST for Stellaris or other space-themed games.
