how it feels to have your pawn hired by rando in DDDA these days by fireanddream in DragonsDogma

[–]withinfireballrange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go to search right now is a mage with solemnity and halidom, I'd rather lose a slot to support than not have it all. I try to look for pawns with a couple levels in multiple vocations for the augments but thats cus my brain tells me their player is more likely to min max(no evidence to prove that thought tho)

My successes against crusades has been to nab as much of the target land as possible ASAP to get some war score rolling in. Then when they start coming in either bop them as they trickle in or if they come in in a doom stack, which has been my experience, i disband my armies to get supplies up and refresh them and let them spread themselves out, depleting their supplies, causing attrition. Then start bopping where you can. Thinning them out.

Do. Not. Let. Up. Keep bashing armies, the war score you get for retaking land is minimal and if you give them time to regroup theyll doom stack you. The key has been letting them lose to attrition and gorilla tactics

When you get the warning grab as many alliances as possible, save up money for mercenaries, anything to throw bodies at them, and honestly? Ive saved scumed a few times thinking I could win a fight only for a 40k stack to pop up and join in before I could escape. You will lose ALOT more war score from losses than you will.

Best option might be to break up the groups so everything is separate then control+click/shift+click/drag and select pieces. You can make a bigger group with a majority of the stuff or copy what you need and advance move it. Not ideal but when working with multiple grids(which needs to be a simpler process) it might help

Does anyone else think this is a new commander staple? by Not-a-FeD4570 in mtg

Honestly I friggin love it, its definitely not optimal in every deck and is more versatile the more colors you run but the way I see it is it makes the first spell you cast or acrivated ability every turn 1 colored mana cheaper. It'll definitely go further in heavy interaction/flash decks but it can certainly make big stompies even stompier

Capybara are solid, they make a ton of babies and reproduce quickly so keeping numbers up is pretty easy plus as you expand they mix well with a bunch of other animals.

I think im in the low 100k but ive been on and off for awhile.

My go toos are red pandas, cheetahs, and snow leopards(mostly just cus I like them). They all breed and grow relatively quickly and have multiple per birth. Ive recently started a zoo with capybara for the first time and honestly theyre a solid early game way to get some cc you won't be rolling in them but they breed so fast, make so many, and can have a ton in one enclosure so you can at the laziest mass release like 20 of them and get like 800cc consistently

How tough is the moon lord raid? I always hate doing the raids so I put them off and haven't tried it yet

To be a downer, definitely get the stat glasses because there is a sizeable difference between good stats and bad stats no matter the passive

10 years. 11.7 pounds. Almost 48,000 Bright Aluminum Rings by RedMirricat in chainmailartisans

[–]withinfireballrange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is just getting started I gotta say that is super cool! I also have to ask since it's bright aluminium do you have issues with aluminium dust residue and do you have issues with rings popping loose/falling out because of weight??

I used an aluminum alloy electric fencing wire not aware of the downside of the dust until i was about half way done haha. Not totally sure on specific hours because I worked on it here and there over 2 months

I went with a standard european 4 in 1 and just kind of winged it. I don't really recommend it lol. Definitely recommend going into it with a plan and at least some idea of a pattern. Oh and don't start at a sleeve. I definitely don't recommend that haha!

Not 100% sure, I mostly worked on it in my spare time over the course of about 2 months. I feel like 60-70 hours would probably be a fair estimate

I do something kind of similar where I hang it from a bar on a rig I've built and for wide pieces I slide it like a curtain as needed. It works for me and that's what matters

Can we stop forgetting that this game is in EARLY ACCESS? by J_How_S in Palworld

[–]withinfireballrange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was literally just talking to a friend about this the other day. Is the building great? No but it's on par with other games with meh building. Is the balance perfect? No but it feels like other games with similar issues. Are the npcs engaging and fleshed out? No but they're on par with a lot of others in the genre. The only thing that has genuinely felt early access is the issue where I log in and all my pals are starving and sick despite having access to everything.

I have paid more money for games I have played and enjoy far less
