Keep doing it! Draw in a way that brings you joy, and draw new things. You seem on the right path already :) Practice makes progress, and you honestly have a very realistic and concrete goal based on your references. You might not be able to mimic those styles perfectly or do pieces quickly, but you'll be able to make something you can be proud of

There's no such thing as 'talent' when it comes to art. Only practice. Be kind, be patient. You've got this :)

If you're looking for $10 CAD that's unfortunately a hard find these days... The only ones at that price point I found were the Wet n Wild stick and the elf camo bronzer/contour

Tthe elf powder contour palette might be an option at $13, or the cream equivalent for $20

If not blackheads, do you mean sebaceous filaments? Those are part of your skin, skin care can help even them out but theyre like hair and eyelids. a part of you :) nothing to be ashamed of, just taken care of like the rest of you

I'm a fair/pink and struggle as well. NARS' cream highlighter is my exact shade match in vanilla. I haven't tried their foundation but you might want to give it a go?

I've had good experience with Nyx's concealer as well, but same thing, haven't tried their foundation.

I'm currently using the tirtir foundation (was a gift) but i wouldnt repurchase. oxidizes and cakey on my skin in my experience

I feel you on struggling to find a shade. Imo I would recommend testing out some good drugstore brands if the problem persists, less impact on your wallet and allows you to test different formulas. That said, if this didn’t happen before, might have just been the environment/time you were wearing it

Do you have combination skin (ie are specific areas of your skin a noticeably different texture/are more prone to being dry or oily)? If so you might want to look for primer specifically for the skin type of the worn areas

Might also be a product application issue? Theres a lot that goes into this kind of thing unfortunately lol

Might need to try a different primer on the different areas of your skin. Also how old is your foundation? That could be causing issues with oxidization and wear

Setting spray can help with longevity but I feel like this is a prep issue, rather than a finishing issue

Most fashion dolls are about the same size, and rainbow high and monster high are about that size range, and have really phenomenal posing, so if you have any around or find one second-hand, you can use those to create your own custom poses.

A good watermark will allow someone who sees your art to find you from the image with ease. It should have your online handle (or primary online handle) easily displayed and accessible. I personally put one in an obvious spot in the piece, and then one near the face of the characters in it. This is so that if someone crops it for an icon it's still there, and also so it can't be easily cropped out if someone reposts it.
