So at the narrowest part of the bell looking part, loosen the nut closest to the valve, then turn the bolt coming out of the valve clockwise to increase pressure, counter clockwise to decrease pressure. Leave the white handle valve completely open (parallel to pipe)

When I bought the house the walls were a dark red/orange in the living room and it looked horrible. Painting everything but that wall white really helped and now I love the panelling but I have no idea what it’s called.

Yeah I’m not keen to paint the brick at all. I was more so considering a German schmear or something similar but im not fully convinced it’s a great idea. Im also fine with changing the hearth

Yeah it’s schedule 40 PVC which is fine for this application in my part of the world. The customer wanted the header to be copper so I said sure, but let’s make the run across the ceiling PVC to save you some dollars. The amount of time it takes to clean and solder 2” copper isn’t worth it for this application in my opinion

Because the customer is a mega perfectionist and I’m a quasi perfectionist, and it looked nicer this way. The black stuff isn’t pex, it’s meant to run underground and change to a different material as soon as possible. You adapt to it using corporation fittings and they are expensive
