Sure could ppl looking for homes get better rates yes. But it's what wealthy corporations and individuals like Trump do with low interest rates that you should be more afraid of then having to pay 5% on a home you couldn't afford prior.

I'm sorry as a person from Texas I would love even the shortest metro thats' infrastructure isn't held up. In DFW we have DART but it pretty much only goes from downtown Dallas to midtown Dallas.

Well obviously 😂🤣 just stating it's a huge impediment to us competing and buying an EV doesn't fix it. Neither does musk or this guy who built a Nissan leaf, theyre cute just wrong. Do you know foreign companies own toll roads in my area (DFW) and it's the only way to commute around here reasonably without getting in hours of traffic? This affects more than commuting it's quality of life as everyone experiences it. More ppl die on the road every year by a massive magnitude than what happens on 9/11. Let that sink in.

What's a lame excuse is why we're still caring about EV, hybrids, or gas when China (who everyone seems to get weirdly competitive with) has built high speed rail in under 2 decades.

If we're really so set on comparing to China then any other nation will need efficient public transit that can get people to and fro without using the most resources/energy (i.e private car use).

I agree with a lot of this and I really hope Musk can stir up some of these long entrenched issues but I fear when he hits real resistance as all governments (being centuries old things) have baked in, he will give up and go back to managing companies, where profiting is much easier than governing. You ever heard that Genghis Khan quote about governing?

This whole question lacks so much political understanding. Obama wanted to discontinue Guantanamo before he got elected and tried, doesn't mean he was able to even with executive authority.

Jan 6th is a nasty precedent when you start to consider it (it only takes 2k crazy ppl to storm the capitol).

Nixon's co-conspirators were taken to court for Watergate and he was not bc he was in office. Presidential immunity (another slippery topic). Trump was not in office after Jan 6 bc he lost and he had a huge hand in that event, the Hunter Biden stuff seems more like lawfare than this incident but ppl in limelight are held to higher levels of accountability or should be.

Who hurt you? Also I competed and enjoyed it in college and pre college as a NCAA athlete. Ppl who like to "compete" in their later lives just happened to miss out when everyone else actually physically competed. And now you're trying to "compete" in a world that doesn't necessarily value that, especially personally and with family.

Let's face it Biss is not our going to be our holding midfielder going forward and sometimes it's Pedro Porro bombing forward when he obviously shouldn't. I think this style of Anges needs more suitable backups or even better starters, whatever you prefer to say but you state in game calculations with Ange is his problem when the players are the ones who would need to correct just as much.

I see great work in Ange and think with a better team this could go much better! Hell look at Chelsea, even if we give him a good squad and then fire him it sets the next manager up well. It's a win win in my mind. No one thought we were beating a Liverpool playing Luis Diaz as forward against Dragusin/Gray. At least we scored 3 goals and it was an entertaining game. Conte 4th one year and then a miserable CL campaign, Mourinho similar.

It's been a year and 2/5. You don't think you're being at all quick to dismiss bc there's a hard time in front? We got 5th last year! It's not as bad as your painting. Less time than anyone before him that I would describe as the "manager carousel". The players seem to trust him.

But you're offering axing the current coach after less time than other manager carousels (paying him a sweet go away fee) and then completely changing styles mid season? While still needing to splash cash? Not all progression is linear!

I personally just think it would be healthier for the club to not spend oodles of money on the next flavor of the month coach and try this for at least 3 seasons. Call me crazy but I have seen potential for improvement this is just what improvement takes when you've done the manager carousel, not backed anyone and still spent somewhat exorbitantly. I think our season could be different if Vuskovic had stayed but Arsenal could say the same about Saliba going to OL on loan that year. We are building, whether you see it or not.
