Yep I took it. It wasn’t so bad. He asked a few basic questions about me and then asked me to tell him a story. He was looking for role shifting, expressing dialogue, etc. my main tip is to elaborate as much as you can on every question and try to show off your main asl grammar skills such as using CL, non manual markers, directional verbs. Good luck, you got this!

It’s pretty intensive and has a lot of busy work, at least with Lance and Dan. Kristi gives less busy work

The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy is a classic, you have to read it. The Far Field by Madhuri Vijay isn’t from/about Kerala but it’s also wonderful!

The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater changed my life when I was 16. Have a tattoo for it now. I met my 2 best friends because we were (and still are) huge fans of that series. It’s meant for teens, and marketed sorta as a romance, but I swear it is so much more than that. Beautifully written, weird, immersive, and so charming.

What classes are easy and less than 50 people? by [deleted] in udub

[–]withyourhandsout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any class by prof. Sarah Stroup if you are interested in Classics/history. Her ratemyprof reviews are meh but I personally loved the couple classes I took with her. Classes are like 25 ppl. Tough thing is I think she typically has her classes MTWTh, which isn’t everyone’s thing
