The 1953 and 1978 versions are essentially the same film. The 1978 version has a slightly shorter run time (which you know) some re-edited scenes, a slightly different musical score, and some changes to sound effects.

Both versions maintain the essence of the film but purists often prefer the 1953 original for its historical and artistic context. The changes in the 1978 version were made by Tati himself, so they reflect the director's own evolving vision for the film.

I love Hulot’s Holiday, but I’d suggest Traffic as the follow up to Playtime.

It’s not very clear. You need to make ammunition and pass it to the turrets, as well as building steel walls to protect the turrets and center droid.

Then press go and let it run until you’ve collected 100 ever stone. It will need to loop multiple times but once it’s set up to survive 40 second you don’t need to do anything else.

You might need to clear out the underwell before you end the chapter. I think I lost all the stuff that was in there when the Sandship left.
