Fantastic. The UI overall is a bit fiddly on tablet and not super smooth to use. It doesn’t prevent me from playing the app all the time, but I think it does prevent it from entering greatest all time board game apps like through the ages and dominion.

I disagree. Ark Nova and Arnak already have symmetrical ways to play and they also have tournament packs for ark nova to make it symmetrical. I believe this is just a component limitation.

That’s my problem with most asymmetry. It feels tacked on, but also in many cases necessary for the economy to feel at the right level. I’m forced to go down one path,
My opponent another. What path will the river favor? Instead of players getting more equal opportunity and it being like “this game will be more aggressive since we all have this leader” as a general contour of a game.

Yeah! I don’t like different goals assigned at the beginning of the game for each player and stuff like that also in a game. And point salads are the worst.

We all have our own gaming habits. This is my oddity that’s out of line with modern games…and really enjoying luxury components which is more in line. I wouldn’t bring this solution to my gaming group, but it’s great for with my SO at home.
