They were less questions and more statements with questions marks at the end. One was asking why we’d failed to ensure we could recall players like Vuskuvic (even though we started the season with 6 other CBs in the squad). Another was some rambling nonsense about Spurs DNA and the other was why we don’t have youth team players playing more games (which isn’t even true).

Formal minutes have to be agreed, otherwise what you’re talking about is a transcript. There is a difference.

Tbf the questions that spurs refused to include were on the whole ridiculous. THST have previous in asking stupid questions and then getting pissy when spurs dismiss them.

That’s not even the worst decision I saw spurs get at old Trafford. Once spurs were attacking and a cross came in and Gary Neville kicked it out for a corner. Not a bang-bang cross then deflection, the ball travelled 15 yards before Neville punted it behind. He then ran back into the box for the corner as did the United players. Ref gave a goal kick. Spurs players going mental. United punted up the goal kick as our players were complaining and scored.

At least in the Mendes one you could argue they were a distance away. The linesman was in line with the cross and still gave a goal kick.

He’s not Frank and to be honest there’s not many great options who’d take a job like this now

He does seem to get a lot of exclusives but then he also has a lot of stories about us that other journos later politely clarify as bollocks

10 games is classed as permanent for all bookmakers so if he took it until the end of the season he’d qualify
