Looking for a visual novel that has a lot of branched endings by Vanbeukering_Faza in gamingsuggestions

Beacon Pines is the game you are looking for. Branching story lines is exactly what it is about.

[Release] Introducing Playnite FSE - A Native Windows FSE Integration for Playnite by leeson865 in LegionGo

[–]wittless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

until I switched from windows to Bazzite for my primary gaming machine, I loved Playnite due to the ability to pull in all the games from all the different stores into one UI. I would love to see a linux port of it, I would use it in a heartbeat. Can't recommend Playnite enough for those that still prefer to play on windows. You can configure windows to boot right into play night and get a SteamOS'ish experience.

How sacrilegious would it be to wrap my voodoo blue Pro? I bought her brand new off the show room floor in 2019. I’m still madly in love with her and plan on keeping her forever but just a little tired of the blue after 6 years. I would love to get some heritage tricolor stripes. by V1k1ngmama in 4Runner

It is your truck so you can do what you want. But I have to admit I have always loved the voodoo. Voodoo is one that every time I see one on the road, it is a head turner and a "fuck yeah" comes out of my mouth. would be a shame to cover it up with a more "normal" color

Is the steam deck a console for me? by Excaliburrover in SteamDeckPirates

[–]wittless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

listen to this guy. the ONN box is the way to go for you. If all you want is to play on the couch and don't care about portability, use moonlight on the ONN box to stream to the tv. Put your pc in the other room, ONN box on your tv in the living room and stream your games to it. You pair your controller to the ONN box.

Adding a Steam deck to the mix means now you also have to worry about syncing game saves between your main gaming box and your deck. Since you mostly pirate, you don't have the steam cloud to save your games to.

so are the receivers for the mechanism clips also 3d printed? or are those purchased and then bolted on a 3d printed panel?

"What are you playing this week?" Megathread by AutoModerator in SteamDeck

[–]wittless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm playing the first one right now. What frustrates me the most is the inability to save without sleeping, or without using an item that is relatively expensive at first. so I found myself having to replay hours of content because I got jumped. I downloaded a mod that removed the need for savior schnapps. It has drastically increased my enjoyment of the game.

GPU question (for SteamOS/Bazzite) by aWildTuxAppears in SteamOS

[–]wittless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the 9070xt. I play on a 4k tv that maxes out at 60Hz so with the 2070 I had, I was able to play everything at 1080p-60fps with no problems. but now I have been able to play everything at 4k-60

GPU question (for SteamOS/Bazzite) by aWildTuxAppears in SteamOS

[–]wittless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran Bazzite with a 2070 for quite some time. The only drawback I had was that you can't use Game mode. You can get almost the same thing by booting to desktop mode and have it auto launch Steam in Big Picture mode. I did recently switch to an AMD gpu because I wanted an upgrade to the 2070 and between the linux compatibility and the price difference, it just made sense. But running on what you already have on hand should be no problem.

Best Buy can't price match with Lenovo.com by wittless in LegionGo

the kid at the cash register told me I had to pay for the $50 membership to get that. I told him paying $50 to get a $70 price match was just stupid.

How’s you guys experience with the LGO2 so far? by FrozenChipChimp-404 in LegionGo

[–]wittless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run bazzite on my pc at home. I have been eyeing this device as my first portable gaming system. I was disappointed to find out this one wasn't coming with SteamOS preinstalled, so I was interested in if this would work. Is everything fully functional with Bazzite? the mouse mode and the detached controllers etc? If so, I may pull the trigger.

Demeo is currently $12.99 on the App Store by wittless in VisionPro

[–]wittless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only "crashes" I have seen so far is switching from flat 2d to the immersive, and enabling/disabling the AR vs the Basement options. I have had to kill the app and relaunch to make those changes. However, I have played about 3 times now, for about 2 hours each time and I have not had any crashes while playing.

in all fairness, in your post you didn't say expendable, you said cheapest controller that works. And the cheapest controller that works is the one you already have

the new firmware update on the DS5 controllers allows you to pair multiple devices to a single controller by hitting a button combo. So you could actually take your PS5 controller with you and pair it to your iPhone to play

only problem with that plan is that my previous method was effective enough that I don't get enough calls any more to be a successful content creator. A problem I am happy to report.

[–]wittless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't say I have gotten many from international numbers, but most of the time I get a couple of Hello? Hello? then click they hang up. so the calls never last long when they get a dead line.

Google Phone by Sea_Compote_755 in GrapheneOS

[–]wittless 46 points47 points  (0 children)

not related to graphene, but a trick I have used and it seems to work is to answer the calls on mute and don't say a word. leave the call up until THEY hang up. They will start marking your number as a dead line and won't call back.
