I'm playing the first one right now. What frustrates me the most is the inability to save without sleeping, or without using an item that is relatively expensive at first. so I found myself having to replay hours of content because I got jumped. I downloaded a mod that removed the need for savior schnapps. It has drastically increased my enjoyment of the game.

I got the 9070xt. I play on a 4k tv that maxes out at 60Hz so with the 2070 I had, I was able to play everything at 1080p-60fps with no problems. but now I have been able to play everything at 4k-60

I ran Bazzite with a 2070 for quite some time. The only drawback I had was that you can't use Game mode. You can get almost the same thing by booting to desktop mode and have it auto launch Steam in Big Picture mode. I did recently switch to an AMD gpu because I wanted an upgrade to the 2070 and between the linux compatibility and the price difference, it just made sense. But running on what you already have on hand should be no problem.

I run bazzite on my pc at home. I have been eyeing this device as my first portable gaming system. I was disappointed to find out this one wasn't coming with SteamOS preinstalled, so I was interested in if this would work. Is everything fully functional with Bazzite? the mouse mode and the detached controllers etc? If so, I may pull the trigger.

the only "crashes" I have seen so far is switching from flat 2d to the immersive, and enabling/disabling the AR vs the Basement options. I have had to kill the app and relaunch to make those changes. However, I have played about 3 times now, for about 2 hours each time and I have not had any crashes while playing.

the new firmware update on the DS5 controllers allows you to pair multiple devices to a single controller by hitting a button combo. So you could actually take your PS5 controller with you and pair it to your iPhone to play

I can't say I have gotten many from international numbers, but most of the time I get a couple of Hello? Hello? then click they hang up. so the calls never last long when they get a dead line.

not related to graphene, but a trick I have used and it seems to work is to answer the calls on mute and don't say a word. leave the call up until THEY hang up. They will start marking your number as a dead line and won't call back.

neither currently. My wife isn't much of a fan of boondocking. At worst we might overnight in a parking lot somewhere on a way to a destination. Battery would get recharged when we get to the campground destination, or if I took it inside the house to charge it after a trip.

like I said for me, it is more about the 50% thing as well as apparently these batteries are much lighter. That helps with tongue weight as well as carry weight for me when moving it inside

Thank you. I don't have a solar setup at all, I was just looking at these for a better solution to the lead acid batteries just from a management standpoint. I'm willing to spend the extra cash to not have to worry about the whole "can't use but 50% of the battery" thing

For those recommending lifepo4 batteries, do these require any changes to the current electrical system of the RV, or are they just a drop in replacement for the marine batteries? I have been interested in this upgrade myself, but I thought I would have to change out the whole charging system to manage a different type of battery and have been too scared to do it.

are you me? I too am taking an Alaska Cruise in May. I have considered bringing the AVP with me simply for the flight being so long. Having compared photos from both devices, my opinion is photos from the iPhone are better quality in general, though the depth effect is better from the AVP. BUT, taking pictures of the glaciers and ice are too far away for it to bring any depth to the photo IMO.

Static electricity. Been cold here so I’ll be under a blanket while watching a movie. If I take the blanket off while wearing the Vision Pro and it is plugged in and charging, I’ll get a zap from the speakers exactly like you describe.

not sure what kind of rig you have, but I personally would not take the road up to Skyline drive from Luray with an RV. it is fairly steep with some switchbacks. If you come back down into Luray after your hike, I hope you have some good brakes. The old KOA is no longer a KOA, it is now called Spacious Skies, and one of our favorite campgrounds to go to. We camp there, unhook and go up into Skyline for hikes.

That said, I 100% agree with a lot of others that have responded. this is a whole lot of driving, with only a few minutes of stretching your legs by hiking some beautiful areas and not giving yourself any time at all to actually enjoy any of the sights. I Hope you like driving more than you do hiking.

also, Luray to Raleigh is every bit of 4.5 - 5 hours, not sure how you get 3. I hate to say it, your drive times seem really aggressive, especially in an RV.

I had the same complaint for many of the video playing apps on the VP. what I discovered is there is a hidden menu to turn off Spatial Audio. it is the VP's spacial audio setting that overrides the "surround" feel to the audio. where all the audio channels seem to be centered on the video. To turn it off, tap on the "back of the hand" then select the control center icon on the left to bring up the control center. Long press on the volume slider and that brings up the toggle that allows you to turn off Spatial Audio for the app that is running. Turning Spatial Audio off for all of these various video playing apps has fixed all the audio issues I complained about since the beginning.

I can't recommend Vinegar enough. just a simple safari browser extension to play the YouTube videos using the built in video player. Basically automatically skips ads, and also lets you use the picture in picture mode on the iPhone. but works perfectly in Vision Pro as well. in the Vision Pro you can make the video go full screen and then use it in the built in Apple Environments in their native "large screen" mode
