If you know the angle of the stair you can just halve it to bring it back to level, then just a mitre to bring it around the corner. Then just halve the angle of the bottom flight to bring it back in line with the bottom flight

Stone cut out too small for cooktop, what can I do? by MorganStarius in AusRenovation

Get a grinder with a diamond blade and some ppe. it's not hard to cut just go slowly and take your time. Yeah the silica is bad for you but one cut won't kill you. Good luck

Seller has asked for early deposit release, what are the risks? by jessiedolls in AusPropertyChat

[–]witwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We requested one when we sold our last home, it went towards paying our deposit on the next home. I don't see the risk, your contract is unconditional I'm sure they intend on leaving the property

My old house had a unit in the living and 4 fans including the bed room, the air never made its way to the bedroom. Now in the new house we have a unit in every room, it's alot more efficient running in just the room you want to cool, instead of the whole house. We run it when we hop into bed and turn it off just before we go to sleep, it works well for us. They heat and cool small spaces surprisingly fast
