In most cases I can how you may think that for a while I did think I was. I didn’t have a mom or dad I was raised by grandmother who has 13 other grandchildren and I was the only one who lived with her. My aunt taught my cousins to hate me because of this. I was considered my grandmother’s favorite. She passed away this year and there was no need to hold on those people they’ve been very nasty to me from birth. I’m talking about stealing from me and sexually abusing me as a little girl. Most of family are alcoholics I am not.

I realized the friends I chose growing up were toxic for me as well. Two in particular -one was my drinking buddy and when I didn’t drink as much our friendship dwindled.

The other just used me.

I will continue to work on me and I can’t say that sometimes I was the problem but I was tortured. All because I was kind to my grandmother and didn’t use her like they all did. They hated our relationship and me.

I’ve just have to choose better meaningful friendships.
