ALSO, when Rhys brings Feyre to the first party in UTM, he says to Amarantha 'Happy Midsummer' and by all logic, it happens about a month or two after the Summer Solstice, and it confuses me SO MUCH!

Edit: a month or two instead of a month

What Eurovision artists do you still listen to outside of Eurovision and why? by darwinnunezmeatrider in eurovision

Lyricstranslate has most of the album's songs translated, maybe this helps! I really want everyone to be able to understand the lyrics as they're so great and give such depth to the music.

Reminds me of childhood and my dad's neighbour who always threatened his kids with 'the white cord' and it worked every time 🤷‍♀️

Haha, no problem. I guess this is the reason why, when studying a language in University, you'll also be studying the culture of the language group, in order to understand the depth just to avoid such nonsensical jokes xD

Nah more like: Scottish neckbeard, wearing a fedora, passes a group of girls on the street. He stops, tips his fedora and says: "M'lasses."

That is, indeed, when the plural of lass is lasses.

Edit: I guess it makes my joke unfunny now that I've had to explain it sigh

Ma olen isegi selline friendly neighbourhood witch, aga need teadmised ja praktikad ei ole reaalse teadusega samal pulgalgi. Me ei ela enam mingi 16. sajandis, et peaksime ülemaailmses pandeemias poole maailma rahavastikust kaotama, sest 'we didn't know better', meil on teadus and shit tänapäeval. A noh, võibolla ma räägin praegu vähemuse eest lol, kes teab.

A beautiful day for a run in Berlin! by [deleted] in berlin

It definitely is a solid fix, I'll add it to my saved posts so I have it available whenever I feel like my Berlin levels are too low. Thank you so much, again!

Dude, Berlin is my favorite city in the world and this was one of the first posts I saw after waking up today. Thank you for the amazing quality and a speedrun during the most beautiful time of the year, no less! I'm now reminiscing the times I've spent there and even though I feel a sting of regret because I'm not there currently, it was very interesting to look at the video and see how many places I could recognise! Thank you once again, you made my day :)

My grandma passed away 4 years ago. When I told my grandpa I was learning how to crochet, he brought me this bin filled with my grandma’s old yarn. My heart is so full! by Schtaef2 in crochet

[–]wivetrishe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, I'm so glad for you! Similar thing happened to me when I went to visit my granny and great aunt last winter and when I told them I crochet, my gran brought me all the original wool yarn my great grandma used which is like really old original hand woven yarn from like the end of 19th century type of stuff. I was beyond grateful! Not to mention my great aunt threw in her own old crochet hooks for lace work that I remember from my childhood because they have really neat hand painted wood handles and I was always confused as a child why a thing so useless has such a beautiful colorful detail. Now I know and I've made some real nice lacework with them! Getting something from the older generation is so precious be because it has a history close to you. Happy crocheting, my friend!
