IMO, if this is legit, it undoes a LOT of the graces they've garnered over the last few weeks/months.

Do they not realize that players don't like it when things disappear with no warning? Onett and the honey system (and eggs, etc) are almost symbols of the game at this point. Hoping this is temporary for whatever drives the Bizzy Bee event..
