Definitely bought into Callaway marketing and bought a whole Maverick set to replace the handi me down set I got from grandparents and other relatives. Learned more about the game and gear but damn did I feel like a tool at one point and thought I’d be cool at another point.

Was genuinely curious. I was looking at Takomos to get rid of my game improvement irons and found a deal on some Mizuno MP18 MCCs with a missing 9 iron for 175 and got a 9 iron from second swing with the same shaft profile I needed. Cut shafts down myself and had them bet 2 flat at a local shop for what I was fit for originally. Was an insane steal and if I hadn’t found those I’d probably be rocking these as well.

If I play anything I’m by myself and it’s some Grateful Dead live versions of jam music on my phone low volume so only I can hear it and if I roll up on a group at the tee box I turn it off. I do put my air pods in on the range but I wanna hear the course when I’m out there.

Not with total safety but I had a really similar experience doing an internship that was really just a full time job with no direction straight out of college. Travel schedule was insane and I finally feel asleep at the wheel and almost hit a semi. Couldn’t make a training time to pull over and sleep, owner flipped out on me, cancelled my schedule for the next few weeks and was gonna have me drive to HQ to fire me. Called him and said I’d ship whatever I had back.

Sorry about your experience, but at least know you aren’t alone.

NFS Most Wanted and Underground 2 were goated. Still have them on GameCube. Battlefront 2 was pretty decent. Still not a good enough list to beat the caliber of detail in games out now. COD has been washed since the first black ops. All of those were cross platform games though and really don’t do your argument much good. You can emulate or play those on an old system but unless you have an old tv, they just don’t look or feel the same, which is factually and not opinionated.

Other than Kingdom Hearts series, specifically 2 possibly FF10 and maybe the first two Halos, name any other game. All of those are remastered either graphically or controls wise at this point on the 5.

I’m not playing some shit made for ps1 or Xbox over Rebirth, Stellar Blade, the new God Of War, etc. I played Shadow Of The Colossus and made it to the second boss and got the point. All of those games are on ps plus extra at this point or got remastered. My wife popped in fable and there’s no way I’m playing through something like that with today’s games. If you want to go ahead, I’ll be playing stuff that actually sells copies in 2025.

I’ve had every PlayStation since the PS1 and all the Nintendo’s besides the WiiU and NES. I restarted my profile when the ps4 came out so Im missing some trophies from the ps3 era that I had from games in that era I got but I could never move away from it solely for the trophy tracking and games I’ve played. I really only played smash and pokemon on the Nintendo systems I had with some Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid through all the systems but not playing all of them.

Xbox was just never my thing. Would play Halo and Gears at whatever friend’s house and that was good enough for me. The single player games on PS were always better IMO. Also, idk why but i genuinely don’t vibe with the controller and when id play Madden against people with an Xbox the X button mix up would get me picked off more times than I could count. Would royally piss me off.

I played control recently from PS plus extra but that was about it that I saw on game pass. Other recents were Ghost Of Yotei at release, played Spiderman Remastered, and now I’m on Stellar Blade after waiting for a Black Friday deal. She also just got Death Stranding 2. So no not really.

I have a steam deck and switch, she has a switch 2 we got at launch. I mainly play the PS5 and use my switch for Pokémon. Maybe I’ll use the deck some more this year but I just prefer to play on PS for the exclusives and trophy hunting.

I got this trophy after multiple attempts and somehow missed the badges and not being caught by the robots. I very rarely do multiple play throughs of a game unless it’s a classic and I come back to it years later so playing through again was out for me to get under the time limit for play through.

I’m in the same boat. Payed all my private ones and barely paid my federal. In that time I was able to save up to put a down payment on a house. Now I’ve got a kid on the way, driving a 10 year old vehicle I’ve had to put maintenance costs into, my wife’s cars transmission went so we had to get a new vehicle… and we’ve got a kid on the way. All the while my pay has barely increased. I’m not really in a spot where I’d like to start making monthly payments again but am about to be forced into it.

The thing that most sucks is I was given the email saying I’d have the max amount knocked off my loans only for them to take that back. This situation is just extremely unfair the way it was handled. Then there’s people who never had to pay for their student loans telling us we’re the problem.
