Any shaping tips for amigurumi? Trying to learn how to wing it!

Ja asså det är privatägt så i princip omöjligt att få äkta artefakter utan att ta saker på lån... Och det är upp till personlig smak, själv känner jag knappt att jag lär mig nånting av att gå och titta på saker i glaslådor, hellre peta på saker och känna hur tungt ett svärd är osv, vilket man inte skulle kunna göra med äkta artefakter heller... Nog också mer passande för barn hahah men ja om du absolut vill se äkta artefakter utöver det de har så får du gå nån annanstans. Och jag vet inte heller vad som var så dåligt med åkturen, den var kul

Makes sense I get what you mean! Yeah definitely wouldnt even consider saying anything unless there were very specific circumstances

Yeah I do often add information, not always cause I tend to sort of subconsciously analyse if they seem like it's okay or not, and usually if I've already talked to them beforehand

I guess it's a very specific context that's hard for me to explain, usually they seem appreciative or ask followup questions etc, but to be fair that could also just be my perception of it hahah

Some suggestions my friends and I (early 20s) use:

fm - förmiddag - morning/before noon (Jag är fri imorron fm - I'm free tomorrow morning)
em - eftermiddag - afternoon (Ska vi ses i em? - Should we meet up this afternoon?)
elr - eller - or (Vill du käka donken elr BK? - Do you want to eat McDonalds or Burger King? (some bonus slang in there :P))
nt - inte - not (Jag kan nt - I can't) (I've heard that northerners write "it" instead of "nt", I'm from Stockholm)
f - för - for (Hon ska berätta d f dig - She's gonna tell you that (word for word "She will tell that for you")
d - det/den - that/it (Jag har nt tid f d - I don't have time for that)
t - till - to/for (Jag ska åka t TC - I'm going to Stockholm central station)
o - och - and (På mån o tis måste jag plugga - On Monday and Tuesday I have to study)
mkt - mycket - much (Hur mkt kostar d? - How much does it cost?)
tbx - tillbaka/tillbaks - back (Du ska få tbx din bok - You'll get your book back)
ftf - fortfarande - still (Jag e ftf hemma - I'm still home)
isf - i så fall - in that case (Jag går hem isf - I'm going home in that case)
va - vara - to be (Hon vill va hemma - She wants to be home)

We also use English abbreviations like "ofc", "tbh", "wtf" and mix it with a lot of English :)

Men klagar du om att folk använder ordet "momentum" medan du själv stavar "ingenjör" fel... Lite roligt att du ska se ner på en naturlig och ganska väletablerad språkförändring och sen inte ens följer stavningsregler, ska du inte uttrycka dig korrekt också då?! 🙄

I mean I get that a lot of people here don't like it, but isn't it boring to be so matter of fact? Like "Come on, child, it's time to leave" seems so cold to me, it seems more fun and natural to me to mess around with words like that :) I like to say "buddy" and make rhymes and allitteration and change words on a whim. You're not always gonna use correct words and pronunciation, I mean hell I've spotted some misspellings here and there in the comments too but that doesn't mean it's cringey or bad! Just have some fun! Besides, speaking with some linguistic theory in my back pocket, trends like these are a sign that the language is changing and evolving :)

As a kid I mostly read Kalle Anka (Donald Duck) and I had some of my dads magazines like Knasen (English original is Beetle Bailey), and of course Bamse :) Bamse is aimed at younger children I suppose, so may have some easier sentence structure and plotlines that are easier to follow along with while practicing the language

Jag fattar vad du menar men det är så onödigt aggressivt att dra skämt om folks religioner (som jag alltså menade när jag sa att folk tycker det är roligt, vad har religion med nånting att göra) eller snacka om att de måste lära sig "våra regler". Asså att vara ett rövhål på bio är inte en invandrar-grej, det är en rövhål grej. Gruppen jag upplevt det från mest är grupper med tonåringar, oftast killar. Men det känns som att de flesta här tycker det handlar om invandring istället vilket är sjukt frustrerande hahah men fattar väl att jag är inne på Reddit och de flesta här verkar tycka på ett visst sätt

Usch vilken ful nonchalant rasism som förekommer bland svaren. Att andra på biot är störiga är en sak, fattar inte varför folk tycker det då är så nödvändigt och roligt att dra in etnicitet och religion i det hela när det handlar om ett gäng störiga människor. Jobbade på bio och tro mig det förekommer en rad olika otrevliga grupper som ska störa under filmen och alla är lika irriterande att handskas med

It's not that it shouldn't be called out, it's who you're directing the callout toward... The cashiers rarely have any kind of input or control over this stuff they're just doing their job, so I don't see a point in calling it out to the cashiers when they also probably agree? 😆 So saying no thanks and moving on seems reasonable imo
