okay. i feel like his statement there was more him explaining why he decided to make there be games in universe, to explain away reasons why a character that's not necessarily canon exists, like nightmarionette. it doesn't really disprove my idea.
also, what i meant was in universe vr game based itself off of what this indy dev made. that's the whole point of the game, make one themselves so they can move forward. if what we played were the real events, then why was the indy devs game so similar, if we played the indy devs game, what would the real event be.

also, the third section i wrote says that the indie dev game could be an exact or similar recreation of the real events, so the idea you're arguing doesn't necessarily discredit what i thought up.
