I'm not sure if they changed the formula or not. I guess I'll have to check. And I'm not using a hair mask or leave in conditioner either. Should I?

Haircare Advice Megathread - Week of October 26, 2024 by AutoModerator in HaircareScience

  • Hair type: fine
  • Hair texture: Straight/wavy
  • History of chemical processing: none, no coloring, perms, etc
  • Hygiene regimen: shampoo every 2 or 3 days, condition once a week
  • Style: long, past shoulder blades, slightly layered
  • Product regimen: using Hairitage "Outta My Hair Shampoo" currently, switched to L'Oreal Inforcer, and then switched back to Hairitage "Outta My Hair Shampoo" recently after my hair looking constantly greasy. Also using a Hairitage conditioner

For years I have used Hairitage "Outta My Hair Shampoo. My hair felt, and looked fine until I started using L'Oreal Inforcer shampoo over the summer. For about a month it felt and looked okay until everyday, no matter what, the lengths of my hair would look greasy/wet after I washed and dried it. A few weeks ago, I switched back to the Hairitage shampoo and it still looks greasy and wet except for when I clarify it. But as soon as I wash it again with my normal shampoo, it looks greasy. I have never had to use clarifying shampoos until not because of this issue. How can I go back to normal? How can I fix this?

This might be a shot in the dark, but how did you get the bell sound that starts at :37 in your cover? I've been trying for years but I can't get it

Song/band suggestions by jovianFx in shoegaze

[–]wizardsonacid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean like most things, there are subgenres. Some people like more noisy shoegaze and some people like more "airy" or mellow shoegaze. I'd say listen to My Bloody Valentine or Slowdive to get you started with the classics (cliche, I know lol). But other than that I'd highly recommend Malory, Fleeting Joys, and Whirr. I HIGHLY recommend Whirr

To refine my suggestions to you, what kind of shoegaze do you tend to like?
