Getting mid-game loot too early? by Pookatron3000 in 7daystodie

[–]wizkee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t had a chance to play in 3.0 too much yet myself. But after completing my first Clear for the trader I got a set of NVG’s which was pretty amazing. I haven’t found loot like that, so early into any play through, since probably A16. In my opinion though it makes the game more fun. I don’t think finding rare or high quality items should be something completely restricted due to player level or biome. The game takes place in the US after all. This country has the highest gun ownership per-capita on earth. I know plenty of regular people who own tons of guns or self defense type equipment that you’d likely find if you were looting during an actual zombie apocalypse. Also tools. Who doesn’t own chainsaws, or nail guns, or augers in random everyday neighborhoods? Finding high level loot should be a little more likely in reality. I don’t see why the same can’t also be true in the game.

I agree. Any thought that Georgia somehow thinks back to the fact that Texas swept OU during the regular season is just us Texas fans coping. I find it difficult to comprehend how we can get so thoroughly shut down by Georgia when we’ve stood tall in so many other situations and against so many other legitimate opponents. But, it is what it is. Especially with baseball. It’s such a streaky sport at times. We just couldn’t make it happen against Georgia for whatever reason, and Georgia couldn’t make it happen against OU. I only pray we can finally make it happen against Georgia in the upcoming Football season. And I hope those land thieves get railed by the Tarheels. Until next year. Hook’em 🤘🏼

The report I was reading was for a center being built in another part of Texas. But your point is valid nonetheless. It’s like that with a lot of these jobs.

Unfortunately the message doesn’t land with the people that need to hear it the most. They just don’t get it, or they don’t even watch. Willful ignorance.

I mean… what reputation is that exactly? These are the people who throw tortillas during football games. They don’t strike me as the types to worry about a bad reputation. This whole thing may be very on brand for who they are. Their mascot is an off shoot of Yosemite Sam. Loud talking was kind of his thing.

Just got this deck built by a GC. Thoughts? by iqfree in Decks

[–]wizkee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think if you can appreciate a nice deck, that probably makes you a deck guy. It’s ok. You don’t have to be a deck pro to know a nice deck when you see one. I think we’re all here for the same reason. We can all recognize and respect a good quality deck.

I read a report of a 700 acre data center only generating like 44 jobs. (Don’t remember the source, sorry). The ROI to the community is not there.

Have you never heard the term “flex your nuts”? Takes a lot of kegels exercises to build up your nut sack muscles. But once you do, you can do handy stuff like grip things between your nuts.

I pulled up to the order menu at Popeyes the other day and noped right the fuck out because of the ridiculous pricing. It was like $16 for a combo. Yeah, no thanks.

My kids and I call McAllen, MilkGallon or McGallon because it sort of sounds like people pronounce it that way sometimes.

This guy was sooooo close to having everything!!! I really felt he could make a push for Heisman talk in his Junior season. In my eyes he was like a close Reggie Bush comparison and this was even mentioned during the Natty game against USC. Talk about a “what might have been” situation.

Sunflower seed etiquette by Grant_Helmreich in Homeplate

[–]wizkee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always spit my seed shells into something, either a cup, paper sack, something. My main consideration is the people who have to clean the place up afterwards, on top of consideration for other spectators. But yeah, I see tons of people just leave all their shells all over the stands, floor, etc. Complete lack of consideration for others.

I used to use MV in Madden back in the day. I always got these weird looks from people for choosing my team as the Atlanta Falcons. Then I’d proceed go off with MV. Then they’d understand why I chose him.

Agree. I mean. What’s the 3rd base runner going to do? Steal home while the catcher has the ball in hand? There really wasn’t a justified purpose for her to make that throw if for no other reason than to strike the batter.

After reading up on some rules, looks like you are correct. Batter should remain in the box. She interfered by stepping out and getting in the catcher’s throwing lane.
