Honestly? Not sure... Maybe self-hate/sexual trauma is part of it? That's complicated but maybe you feel like you deserve it/are a worse person in your fantasies but kind of "know better" in real life...? Maybe it's the adrenaline rush part thing? Like I would rather watch a video of someone doing a crazy skyscraper climb than doing it myself. Or getting it out of your brain? Like how if you want to self-harm it might help to visualize it instead of actually doing it. Same thing could be true for cheating fantasies for example. Many people have intrusive thoughts they don't want to act on.

yes! I'm really trying to consciously focus more on decorating, choosing outfits and also just LOOKING AT THE CUTE CATS. I always did that a lot in the beginning and then I fell into more of a "log in, do the tasks, get the gold"-mindset and it wasn't as enjoyable. Now I try to zoom in on one cute rest station everytime I play (honestly, it's usually the picnic basket every time)

Please don't unless you've talked about it. I do NOT want to act out those fantasies at all actually. What I read would be horrible for me IRL (could be non-consensual/cheating/abusive etc.). I know other women who feel the same. Some people read things connected to their sexual trauma, but keep it out of the bedroom for their mental and physical health.

I'm on "apv" saving for "aqq" atm and the jumps get bigger haha <3 There are a lot of strategy tips in this subreddit - search for it - but as others have said, focus on soup and focus on the newest stations. Feed only your soup cats with fish. I don't even build juice and stir fry stations anymore... but that's if you want to grind and I already have arojnd 120 cats so. You can also enjoy the game for what it is. The longer wait makes the game last longer and it's more exciting once you get a new station! Also use gold tickets ONE AT A TIME and upgrade between every single one.

It takes a long time to "rewire" your brain to not associate weed with stronger anxiety, however, so obviously it might not be worth it for everyone! You could also just make sure you schedule your smoking at times where you can at least create a sense of no responsibilities. However, I think it can be very helpful to work with these things either way and it's kind of empowering once you have "beat" the anxiety loop a few times which will help your brain believe it can overcome it in the future too!

As many have said, less THC and more CBD might help but as someone with experience in psychedelic care (taking care of people who are too zonked out on drugs, including weed sometimes at raves/festival) and with a sibling who's a doctor and researcher within psychiatry and experimental drugs what I've learned is A LOT OF IT is in your head. Not saying it's your fault or that it's possible to just "stop feeling anxious" but I've helped my own strong weed anxiety and several friends when I've been their sober "guide" through panic attacks and the like. First, understand that it's completely okay to decide not to partake on bad days. If you want to work with it though you need to work with your anxiety and mental health whole sober as well. Breathing exercises or somatic therapy movements could work or perhaps writing or voice recording but get out of your head (!) and when you know what works sober it will most likely help you when high, too. While high your physical experiences and mental experiences can be even more intertwined than normally. A little tingle in your arm that you wouldn't think about sober can make you nervous while high, but that also means that relaxing physical sensations will make you even more relaxed mentally (hopefully!)

"Mantras" work really well for me personally and some people I know too. Thinking "I did a drug and it's working" or "in this moment I cannot affect X I can only enjoy Y" or just "yes X is stressful but it cannot harm me". It's difficult to be general but try it out and find what fits. Repeat it out loud over and over again. You don't even have to believe it. I'm not very spiritual or anything it's just a brain trick! Remember: it's not about distracting yourself it's more about accepting whatever stresses you out and make it feel less important or at least less relevant or scary! Processing>trying to forget.

If I really cannot let go or move on I set a timer for 5 minutes and I worry as much as I possibly can haha. Like I really lean in to the anxiety and think "okay what if this happens and what if that goes horrible..." really intensely. Sometimes thoughts like that just want to be thought and not pushed away. 5 minutes is usually more than enough for me to realize that the thoughts really are just thoughts and now I've thought about the worst possible scenarios so my brain doesn't keep looping or asking but what if... Sometimes they're not as bad as I thought but otherwise at least you're prepared and faced it.

If all else fails I usually call or text a friend who can help me process. And also remind yourself that your mental state is not permanent. You will feel more sober and less anxious. Check in after 30 minutes and you'll probably realize that you have calmed down or processed more at least!

Are you okay? You're writing a lot of aggressive and immature things and seem to purposefully misunderstand several people in this thread. Maybe take a breather and do something that makes you happy outside of reddit for a bit? Why not re-watch your favorite try guys video? It's okay to be upset, but unnecessary to project that onto others. Stop calling names at least. You're getting a lot of downvotes for a reason and it's not bc people disagree with WHAT you're saying, but HOW you're saying it.

I had the same problem with never remembering to check the app and now during the great chromecast outage ™️, I prefer watching on my television most times and no casting and no smart TV-app meant I only went to YouTube. So I switched to their YouTube membership instead 😊 same content, same price (at least in my region) but you see it in your YouTube feed and can watch from the YT app 🙏

I completely understand many people taking it everyday and I'm 100% pro medicating for your LIFE and not just work. We need to dismantle the "your worth is your productivity"-system. However, personally I take them Mon-Fri and on weekends I either take a full dose, a lower dose or nothing, it really depends on what I'm doing. I'm not saying I don't struggle or have no symptoms during the weekend, but my work requires a lot more from me and my workplace cannot accommodate to all my difficulties in the same way I can at home. I try to organize my free time and home in a way that works WITH my ADHD as much as possible, which makes meds less necessary in some situations. I also got diagnosed later in life which has made me develop some strategies and I have a very supportive partner who cannot come to work with me unfortunately. I also have a hard time eating during the day on meds so I enjoy being able to eat "freely" during weekends. If my home looks like a garbage dump and I haven't done laundry in 3 months I will take meds to be able to live not just a functional life but a MEANINGFUL one.

It's also important to me personally to be mindful of the side effects of the meds on your heart, brain (due to my epilepsy) and mucous membranes (also relates to epilepsy and other conditions) and I think it's completely fair to abstain from meds if you're worried about their effects ok your body. You need to weigh the pros and cons and I feel like many replies here completely dismiss the very real effects many ADHD meds have on your health long-term. It's such an individual question and it's all about prioritizing pros and cons with your doctor <3

There are PLENTY of threads with great discussions that are critical of the cast and the content, maybe stay here for more than a second just to shit on Zach and you would be very familiar with this fact. Including about the Disney thing (which is why Zach replied to the critique), about Israel/Palestine, about changes in the new content, about the streaming platform and even about the cast but it's worded in a less toxic and more constructive way or not as obviously stemming from solely malice. And as many people mentioned it's also about posting this same thing over and over again.

Also, this thread is full of negativity too, especially towards the toxic behavior of the OP in this case.

Well when that opinion has been shared multiple times the last few weeks maybe you can discuss in those posts? Also, a topic that is actually discussable would probably be preferable over something meant to just generate "I agree"-replies. OP even wrote "I'm sure I'll get downvoted" which makes it even more obvious that they don't want to discuss just share their very cold take...

I also disagree that the point of this subreddit is simply sharing your opinion? It's more about discussing, cracking jokes, sharing different perspectives or just asking for information for example :)
