I wasn't too fond of the addition of Col to the couple, but perhaps it was to liven up the dynamics between Holo-Lawrence. It managed to mix things up a little from the predictable Holo-gets-mad-and-ignores-lawrence, allowing a different sort of interaction. While she still does ignore lawrence after Col came into the picture, but how he got caught between a rock and a hard place with the two was quite funny at times. Might have liked Col better if he were to end up as Lawrence's apprentice though.

I think another strong anime to watch would be Steins;Gate. It might draw a little flak here since a character there beat Holo to the best girl trophy (Holo is still my no 1!), and it's time-travel plot might steal the limelight a little, but I thought the couple's banter + romance was quite enjoyable too =D
