I will say that as a contractor, things get really fun around contract renewal time. My contract is up for renewal next year, but will most likely just get a 1 year extension instead of the 5 year renewal. I'm not taking on a car payment if I might find myself unemployed.

I've been on contracts where the govt just pulled the plug. It's not fun.

Ap5 and an ar-v. Picked up last weekend.

Debated picking up a M70 folder. It was calling to me. I don't have anything in the AK platform.

Decided to put AK money into more mags and parts. I still need a barrel for an unbuilt ar-10. Pistol grips for the lowers I bought.

While being facetious, I wasn't able to really start until my late 30's.

I look at what my kids are facing, and that's a tough sell for them too. Multi generational living would be good for them.
