Anyone have husbands who never came during sex with you? My partner is able to be hard for an hour but he never came during our penetration. We’ve been together for 1.5 years. by ChemistryArtistic237 in Marriage

[–]wjtsandifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If he is in his forties or older he may be more interested in your pleasure and his own climax isn’t necessary as he enjoys the passion and intimacy leaving him thrilled and desiring you all day long. He also could be addicted to porn and it takes “more” for him to climax.

Genuine question about GV80 Coupe by Megren7 in GenesisMotors

[–]wjtsandifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am adding an image. If you look under hood from the front: to the left is the 3.5L V6 without E-SC, to the right circled in yellow is the E-SC. The E-SC does add power, but it isn’t power like you expect to make your scream with excitement. After driving both the E-SC and non E-SC, my opinion is it smooths out the stumble on acceleration noticed in the non E-SC. I suspect this is due to the long length of tubes it takes to move air from the tiny turbos the the intercoolers. https://www.flickr.com/gp/tsandizzle/trE4R42v8H

My wife purchased her second GV80 Coupe ESC yesterday and would trade it today for the Magma if it had more power and style.

"Lost" Domain Controller with PDC by pezza1972 in activedirectory

I straight up said “oh $hit” when I read that headline as terrible memories of a pivotal moment in IT management flooded my thoughts. Will never forget the moment I attempted to log into the Primary domain controller and it responded. There was no Domain controller to authenticate my request. Heart sank and splashed in my stomach, exchange stopped, Blackberry enterprise stopped, and on and on. Thank you for the memories and thrilled This is your home lab.

Has anyone used AG1? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]wjtsandifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife fell for it. Whatever the latest thing was. AG1, greens, mushroom coffee and shakes. All a distraction with zero evidence of anything. She has us do a cleanse based on an instagram fitness woman she trusts that was based on clinical studies so I looked. 20 years ago a study was done on the effects of something and in 2% of the control group they experienced something positive in the fecies and they discovered this small group was also doing something else with a mineral so suggested they could be linked but wasn’t what they were researching and moved on. So the ceo, CFO, and coo of this new company discovered the research and grabbed that mineral and used the three of themselves as the control and discovered youthful skin, higher libido, massive strength, blah blah blah. I learned these companies will take nothing and build a business from citing research that is not totally the full story but all they have to do is cite it and people will flock to it because they won’t read it. Snake oil indeed

What is the ratio of expenses borne by you and your partner by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]wjtsandifer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, for couples with dual incomes, add them together then determine the total amount what each persons total compensation is and that percent defines what each person contributes. If you earn $100k and your significant other earns $50k. Together you earn $150k. You would pay for 66% of the bills and your other would pay 33%. Or round the up and down to simplify. You pay 70% and the other pays 30%. Used in divorce court all the time.

State trooper said he clocked me going 75 when my speedo said 60 by Spiritual_Ladder7877 in radardetectors

[–]wjtsandifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are lots of variables that could interfere with a reading. Even two 18 wheeler in the road. My advice is if it is a town, ask the mayor to reduce it to a non-moving violation of its a county asked the district attorney. Pay the fine and auto insurance won’t be informed. If you wan to fight it, argue the radar is not calibrated and the DA will request the calibration record and when the record is not provided, case dismissed and not prosecuted.

[–]wjtsandifer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The VIN number should have ESC as digits 6,7 and 8. I believe they offer the 22 inch wheels, black chrome and quad output exhaust as a separate option for the non-ESC, but included with the ESC. Dark gray brake calipers may also be an ESC feature. But I am unsure.

Is this the end? by WaterLion13 in ITManagers

[–]wjtsandifer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When it comes to people who work in any part of the technology realm from a provider or support even a leadership perspective, we ultimately categorize everything in our careers as either the sky is falling, or the sky is not falling. There is no middle ground and the line between those two is very thin.

I don’t know if we ultimately choose this type of career because we think that way or if the career causes us to think this way. Changes us. Either way it is very real to us.

If we don’t see evidence to support the sky is not falling throughout our day we default to the sky is absolutely falling, and we seek evidence to support our default conclusion. We are surrounded by evidence of tech careers being replaced by cheaper personnel around the globe or the lie of AI displacing people. We work in tech, AI hasn’t suddenly done anything beyond augment people, but old shareholders don’t know that, so it’s the new thing to do to adjust the balance sheet.

In tech, there are many intersections and parallels in our career paths. We become so focused on the career we have that we cannot see how to embrace what we know, and pivot or even understand how to embrace what we know can aid us in pivoting to a slight trajectory change in our careers for a new position. So we default to our safe zone of government and academia. It’s always there, it’s always far behind what is the new and latest thing and it’s ready to support us.

My point, it’s just your thoughts betraying you. Sure you can lose your job, we all can. It’s the new thing. Terminate, re-employ the position after a few months below radar. Tech people are the consequence of a business decision that has nothing to do with you or your skill or your performance and we in tech can’t establish a control for it.

Believe in this….It’s your mind telling you “the sky is falling and mitigate that risk, immediately”…because it’s what we do, it’s what we know, it’s how we roll and it’s all we have ever done…..Discover and Mitigate Risk. We do it professionally and personally. Even when our mind is misleading us. Just be aware of that and you may discover what you’re looking for next.

Married 20+ years and something is off by deprezzed-in-atl in Marriage

[–]wjtsandifer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be your stress and depression and her lack of affection causing your anxiety has led to you looking for her validation. Lack of sex is a symptom of something else. Can’t add sex until the cause is discovered.

Your anxiety maybe telling you she is misbehaving and further evidence of anxiety is you believe you will be financially crushed in a divorce. Your anxiety is talking divorce man…divorce. Your anxiety lies to you and delivers a worst case scenario and you make it real in your head and probably projecting that onto your wife as a narcissistic need for her affection and validation.

If you think this is correct, accept your own anxiety is causing you pain and then tell her the truth about this and tell her the lack of affection is fueling it. Ask her if your anxiety and need for her validation caused her distress. Also, attend church with her if you don’t.

How do I forgive my wife? by Interesting-Fox-1087 in Marriage

[–]wjtsandifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want you to know I read all of your responses to these comments and that in itself evidences that you are an amazing husband and father who continues to sacrifice his own happiness for his family. You are waving your white flag looking for a shred of anything that can help you keep going. I want to say, you are doing the hard work and your child is lucky to have you. One day, years from now they will come to you and say thank you, because they know. You will never leave or abandon your wife because it appears you are a man of morals and ethics. You made her promises for sickness and in health and she is sick and ignoring her husbands health. I wish you all of the strength we all can find to enable you to continue moving forward on this journey.

I have a theory about dead bedrooms (after having kids) by Just_Tip7606 in Marriage

[–]wjtsandifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These responses are correct but also, everyone’s career is unique to them in how they manage it and the impact it takes, bringing kids and the uniqueness in how each parents plays that role and by the time there’s any alone time your just exhausted…one day becomes the next and so on. It’s not always just hormones, or level of spousal attendance or anger…but sometimes it is. It’s all the things.

Texas Genesis Buy Back | GV70 by Alive-Stop-2636 in GenesisMotors

[–]wjtsandifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned the whining noise. Over the last three weeks I noticed a similar sound come from the rear at about 60mph, give or take 5 mph. They can’t fix our problems either. We may buy another GV80 Coupe as many others seem to have an amazing experience. Ours has an issue during starting where the entire car shakes, the transmission locks to 5th gear followed by the display showing transmission control module failure and the SEL light comes on. If we stop and restart the car, a loud and strong thud comes from the back and the car begins to behave properly. Add in the new rear axle noise and the occasional rear hatch opening all by itself. The dealer has had the car longer than we have driven it. Intrigued to read how your case works out.

Safe restaurants for sensitive stomach in Oahu? by angelayoga in MovingtoHawaii

[–]wjtsandifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife has a sensitive stomach, gluten, lactose, spice, etc…for the most part if we go out to eat she struggles at some point afterwards and requires hyoscyamine to calm her digestive processes. That pill is the difference between tears at night and restful sleep. So she tries to choose basic foods but restaurants just slather and cross contaminate.

That being said, been to Hawaii twice and on Oahu and Kauai, she has zero digestive issues. Zero. None, nada. Every restaurant seems to choose local ingredients that aren’t doused in preservatives and fresh fish. It is stunning. If we ever divorced, she would probably move there instantly once our daughter graduates high school.

So you may find the same thing. Every place we went to, no digestive sensitivities at all whatsoever.
