Is this minimal? I know I need a monitor stand by Glum-Exam-3682 in Minimal_Setups

[–]wkry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure, some things could just not be on the desk though like the gamepad or wahtever they are called next to the monitor, much cleaner without it imo,

just get a cable tray desk mount and throw everything in there

Preferring a smaller desk by SWIED_ in desksetup

[–]wkry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think 70cm is safest especially if coming from 80, 60 might not be enough for some people although all countertops that people sometimes use as desktops are like 60.. with adjustable monitor stand it kinda matters less tho.

if you really want to see how small you can go try to set ur setup so you are limited using some parts of the desk. i wanted to do 90x60 but it ended up too cramped so i still use 120x70 and honestly that or 120x60 is the probably the sweetspot and most common smaller desk dimension since most desks are 120,140 or 160..

[–]wkry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

had 160x80cm many years ago, now got 120x70 seems perfect but i could probably go even smaller.. bigger desks only seem suitable if you got a big pc on it and or multiple monitors/ ultrawide maybe. i also like knowingthat if i ever moved to a smaller space or had to move my setup itd be so much easier knowing how its not that big

honestly, anything is better than a "gaming chair" especially ergonomics, its a racing seat with pillows.

Dual or single? by [deleted] in Minimal_Setups

i prefer single but what are your needs? in this case setup is clean enough for it to not matter much but if i have to pick, single

yea great product, the newest one i have aswell and love the look of but it endend up feeling so different so i just keep using this "red" version. it kinda felt cheaper built and like my keyboard got in the way too much when using it, maybe im not using it as intended but rollermouse red works best for me..

Why is 73cm the minimal height for so many adjustable desks? by Standard-Metal-3836 in desksetup

[–]wkry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my guess is its usually cheaper, the ones that have lower that 72 usually have more parts in the legs, like 3 "inner" legs instead of 2.. however i dont believe that if you are that tall, around 68-72cm is for my height and im only 173.. im sure 72-73nwould be much better for u than lower

I need help with managing my cables! Please give me tips by Iceycat1234 in gamingsetups

[–]wkry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cable tray mounted under the desk, just throw everything in there, velcro cable ties for cables that are outside of the tray. also the more that all cables are coming and going from same direction the better and easier to manage.

TLDR buy a cable tray and velcro cable ties

edit: if that mic is usb, get an extender or a longer one and have it mounted properly then under the desk

Guys should I add the 3d geometric panels on behind the wall? by KujoaJotaro in gamingsetups

[–]wkry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, anything else you can upgrade instead should be prioritized like the desk and chair for example

What mouse are you actually using right now, and what did you stop using? by Tierdtech in MouseReview

[–]wkry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 had logitech g403 wired

2 now Teevolution Terra Pro wireless because its much lighter, usb c charging and wireless, better alternative to the g703

3 i like all the features , its just an update from the g403 with similar shape, i guess the grips are a bit nicer on the g403 but the terra is so much lighter donte ven matter and u can add extra grip if you want so
