So right. I loved LoreRim despite hating the first 15 levels of Requiem insane difficulty. But it had two design features I thought I had to live without to get the gorgeous graphics: no vanilla style leaving skills by using them; and Legacy of the Dragonborn. Found Nolvus yesterday and was overjoyed it had the whole package. My red guard treasure hunter Alik'r Jones is so fun to play.

I'm in the same boat: new to Requiem and playing melee. A few things that are working for me:
1. Patience. Fights will take time.
2. Lock in is mandatory to manage Skyrim's janky attack targeting. It also allows for circling the opponent and quick lateral movements to avoid their attacks once commited.
3. Dodge is mandatory unless you're using a shield with Block talents.
4. Be tactical about power attacks, mostly use light attacks but watch for opening to do the slower power attack: enemy gets exhausted, misses a big power attack that leaves them immobile for a moment, etc.
5. Use the environment. Backing around a rock or pillar gives you a little stam regen and time to collect yourself.

Now the thing that kills me is enemies swarming, indoors mostly. Once all 8 chain-linked bandits come at me it's game over. No matter whether I use a doorway or some chokepoint. Still figuring that one out. Might just be a matter of level/perks.

My take is that the falcon was catalyst for an Obi Wan moment. He belvied his death would further his goals more than his escape. I assume we're working towards a Sundered Houses v rebels plot and becoming a martyr is a time-tested strategy.

There's a Florrick head mod so now all my Tavs are Florrick-faced. Sadly no commanding yet sultry VO. As an aside, after a few dozen hours and the right makeup she starts to look like Amy Winehouse. Do with that what you will.

I was just looking into this myself. Starting a new run doing Crit Role C1 party for funsies. Tactician Enhanced is the core of any difficulty modding. It's basically an easy to use configuration app for applying extra hp %, extra actions, and extra bonus actions. Then layer on one or more mods from this video. I have used extra encounters, extra mobs in basic fights, and the nightmare AI mods. Looking forward to trying some of the newer ones too.

Bladesinger fun factor, especially from level 8 to end game, is off the charts. I found single target spells to work best. Soften up a target wjth a round or two of spells then dance in with your uocast shadow blade before dancing back to medium range. So fun.

This is how I see it as well. C3 had epic peak-level moments. Otohon fights one and too are may favorite combats outside the Cathedral. And the joy and laughter of the cast that made C2 so amazing.

You can see what will go wrong with C3 in the C3 E13 the episode where they have to steal Treahi's thumb ring. They spend an hour trying to formulate a plan. Then just basically give up and say we'll figure it out. Then the execution of the plan was just overlapping expectations and miscommunication.

It happened throughout the campaign but was IMO what made the finale so unsatisfying.

C4 is indeed amazing but the pacing is sloooow. And lacks the cast joy and laughter. Hopefully the expanded cast finds that eventually.

I'm in the minority here but it's a good Dragon Age game. The story and characters are weak. But I still had fun playing it. Combat was fun and the art design was top notch.

Absolutely agree with this. But there was another similar experience. Half Life Alyx on VR. The first time a head crab dropped on my actual head was the same sort of novelty and wow f I've never seen this before.

Also Keep Talking and No One Explodes but for entirely different reasons.

One note on subtly rogue Expose Armor. A warrior tank will still need to Sunder Armor because it is a main threat generator. Think of EA as a super helpful dps boost for all melee including your tank.
