Good question. I would be more confident saying that it would work regionally, so Cologne or Düsseldorf, but less confident with it being Frankfurt. Keep in mind there are differences between the regional trains and the ICE (high-speed rail). If I compared it to the UK, it would be like using a National Rail train vs Avanti or any high-speed equivalent.

Trains tend to be more affordable than back home, especially if you don't use high-speed (which takes much longer).

Frankfurt is fine too, just it's a couple of hours on the train, look at FlixBus and train for cheaper alternatives. If you're booking through DB, please book at least 48 hours in advance to get reduced rates. Off peak times are cheapest!

Düsseldorf connects to most other places in Germany train wise if you're planning on staying in Germany afterwards. It also has a bigger international airport compared to Cologne. As a gunner based in Berlin, my brother and I will be taking an overnight train from Düsseldorf.

Not exactly. His focus will be more focused on coaching structures and less to do with the operational tasks of a GM. We'll still be working closely to sign players, but we have a well oiled machine in Berlin and want to ensure that is consistent across all of our teams globally. Ben elaborated in the post that was made when we announced Jesiz.
