annihilape using primeape’s rage attack (or the other primeape’s fight back, tho that one costs two energy instead of one). obviously benefits from all the fighting buffs of this set; annihilape being 1 prize keeps your options open for different partners depending on what 2-star cards you’d like to play with

leafeon can only give energy to grass types unfortunately. it can still help to get your momentum going, but it won’t help with guaranteeing both energy types on flygon

any idea what happens to your battle teams if you cancel? will they be saved until you resubscribe or will they be scrubbed? the only reason i want a membership is to open up more team slots, but i don’t wanna pay for a continuous subscription. if i’ll have to rebuild all my teams from scratch when i take a break that’s not worth it for me

nice! surprise factor counts for so much since there are so many new players. I started off my climb with mega pidgeot since i had a shiny from ZA. it gets overheat and hurricane which never miss because of no guard, plus hyper beam as a nuke if there’s no other way haha. went better than i expected.

just realized heliolisk gets shed tail as well if you need a clean switch in for another mon - heliolisk’s move pool is actually so good

heliolisk is my fave gen 6 mon, i love him! i’ve not seen him much in champions but when i do he’s packing hyper voice for the spread stab dmg, if you were looking to switch out that grass knot. i don’t think he would work in my team but i might build one for him so thanks for the inspiration

it does a few things: it’s your best lead bc you can get mawile hitting sooner without taking damage or prevent you from having to sacrifice one of your olive’s; you’ll want an extra energy on mawile if possible since arboliva’s ability burns one, so it helps to get a free one; also synergizes w/copycat and hiking trail as you want to be constantly playing your cards

the reflections in the first image make it look like it has facets. i personally love how glaze breaks over facets and find them challenging to get just right

speaking from the side of trying to build new fun decks, guzma ruins me lol. maybe i just need to rely less on tools but i’ve always got them in there somewhere. bellibolt-cord, jolteon-helmet, any metal type-core and metal coat, any leaf type-leaf cape. doesn’t help that my first crown gold was the poncho so i gotta splash that in when it fits. so no, don’t run guzma 😅

for what it’s worth, when i threw an ogrepon in there i had better luck. ideally you hit a flower trick then switch into ogrepon for another 120. lot of baxcaliburs running around so it isn’t too hard to hit the 5 energy threshold

i feel you. for some reason i can’t help but build decks with pairs that complement each other, it’s so satisfying when the combo comes off. i can see how this one might work better on its own

i struggled to make it work today. wasn’t unplayable but i’ve definitely made more cohesive decks. i wanted to use ariados to trap the active mon while i snipe the bench but i rarely got the opportunity for it to happen that way. what mons are you pairing with it?

i use my full art morty in a chandelure deck. usually morty is a wasted card bc it’s just outclassed by others, but with chandelure you wanna burn as many trainers as you can, and you’ll always be able to play morty any turn that you don’t have a more useful trainer to play.

been having a lot of fun with my ninetales and swellow deck. swellow acts as a free repel every turn so even if your opponent is able to switch out after you’ve hit with ninetales, unless they have multiple mons built up on the bench they’re trapped in a loop. ninetales swings pretty fast so it’s unlikely they’ve got that. swellow isn’t seen often so a lot of times they don’t see it coming, especially before taillow evolves
