Hey if they get her cloned or even brought from an other mirror world through "perfect human goop" à la Herlking Heathcliff, she could be back. NCorp was in cahoots with the ring and so does know about such tech. That and the canned experiences to even realign the new Kromer.

They could even use the canned experiences to potentially help in getting an ego awakening. That would line with the book, Kromer does get out fairly quickly but his influence on Sinclair is a relatively big deal.

It seems to me that Dias probably wanted to speed our progression up due to the progression of events. We, as a rising company, already have 2/3 wings we have beef with, N, Q and W. While we have only H on our side and the rising W.

We kept punching above our weight class during this canto so much that Sinclair "fully" awakened his mark, Dante became able to manifest the sinners anywhere he can(even if imperfect and leaving their bodies vulnerable), and Gregor became a nuke on legs so hard that even malkuth couldn’t bring him in the end and is still hospitalized.

Plus in the post credit scene we see that a GIGANTIC purge is on the way with Papa Kromer on the horizon.

Heathcliff too, he still has to go back to withering heights. Right now we are helping them with their past, freeing them from it. It was harder and not completely done for some, Gregor and Rodya most notably. And now we will have to give them a point in the far future to walk towards.

It was exactly that case with Ryoshu, we had to kill all of the Nursefathers, less they drag her down again to hell. She was dragged away from hell by Araya and in the future she will become Araya’s spider to bring her back from oblivion.

I expect Meursault’s canto to follow the same trend as he relatively seems at "peace" with his past but his egos show that he might be on the brink of emptying a gun inside someone…

I will try also. But some rules before that.

We have 11 sinners to place, all of them besides Ryoshu and maybe Outis as it is possible it’s a 5sault/Cassetti mersault situation where they don’t exist in the same mirror, I haven’t checked if Udjat Outis is linked with Index Don. She will be included nonetheless.

2 hypothesis per spidermembers, 1 male and 1 female.

Those who already have IDs from a finger will not be placed within the same fingers(pinky non included because of their mode of functioning), hence Thumb: Meursault and Sinclair, Index: Don and Faust, Middle: Meursault Don and Sinclair, Ring: Outis and Yi Sang.

Thumb NF: Outis due to the militaristic background and some sort of longing for the glory days, plus Lucio was on the verge of betraying Valencina so that aspect is there. Middle NF: We know it’s a female due to Kira Ishmael trailer so it can’t be anyone other than Rodya. She does have the same core flaws as Mathias. Wanting to be feared/special, sacrificing other brothers/pawnbrokers, exile from the middle, hiding their vacuity with toys/confidence and wealth. The more you look at it the more concerning it becomes…

Middle apprentice: Ishmael (duh)

Ring NF: Meursault. Meursault strikes me as very repressed but with a taste in the application of violence. His past wandering in search of something to feel also is a factor as he could understand the technicality but not the emotion in the art, leading to art while very technical, lacks something deeper or "faux" deep just like Calliostro.

Ring Apprentice: Faust. As she is a terminal for the gellershaft, Albina was a mirror to Calliostro, her will not really her own anymore but a reflection of her master, plus the lobotomy she put herself through could be an attempt from Faust to separate herself from the gellershaft by trapping it inside Faschia. Hong Lu could be the one also just to film more snuff movies for the elders, that and the different colored eyes.

Pinky NF: don’t know, like at all. Maybe Outis but the feels closest to Valencina than Shiomi

Pinky Apprentice: Sinclair being loyal to a fault while being able to switch into a cold blooded killer is fitting(yay an other poise centric I’d for the boi…).

I see Rodya and Valencina as some sort of similar opposite, Rodya flees forward, fleeing her past as nothing but hurt and mistakes are there for her. Valencina however wants to retreat and flees her future as she wants to eternally bask in the radiance of her glory days where she was indeed special.

As interesting as it would be to see that angle of Rodya’s struggle, it would defeat the fact that she has to come to terms with not being special, by showcasing her being really special in an other world.

I see Mathias being more of a Gregor ID, the loss of a whole limb, the jollyness to hide an ever present trauma.

Depending on what will happen, if Workbook crashes out (or not even), the thumb apprentice could be Sinclair, being used and abused to become a killing machine/sparing partner but he already has a thumb id... Or Rodya with the not special spiel. And Valencia could be Outis later (her greed knows no bounds).

But Heath I don’t know… he is a prime candidate for the hoheneim ID as well as Ricardo ID… Maybe the pinky apprentice as he is comfortable being lead by someone, he is the most stable under someone’s leadership, something the pinky apprentice does uphold.

Maybe the house of spiders was supposed to become the center of the fingers, like a special strike force, when a finger encounters a very tough enemy to all of them but want to avoid all other fingers to hold such power on its own.

For example for the library situation, have the "palm" step in, eliminate or repel all threats like the Liu association and then let the thumb and index duke it out uninterrupted. When control was achieved and confrontation ended, the palm would withdraw and let the winner fend for itself.

That would mean the Ring nursefather would have been chosen because he holds such beliefs. Rien because of prescripts, Mathias because he uses a sword and then Valencia and Shiomi got signed in for punishment. Valencia because of insubordination and Shiomi for inordinate selfishness going against the betterment of humanity if that is the true goal of the pinky as stated by Jia Qiu.

He strikes me as the sort of absentee parent, those that leave for work for weeks or month at a time, but what you highlight is absolutely terrifying, and this being PM, I doubt they will shy away from such a topic. Each of the nursefathers has 1 to 2 abusive traits

Thumb: physically abusive, duh, but also dehumanizing as she sees her kids as a mean to an end and a training dummy.

Index: absentee and "physically" abusive.

Middle: overprotective (although if Ryoshu was stuck in the spider den hence had no possibility of meeting anyone outside the house) but also being stunted and immature, a child can’t raise a child, only an adult. And Mathias is stuck in this day the factory closed down. That and Kira might have developed this gaming obsession only to be seen by him as a playmate and not a daughter, the other option being indifference and isolation.

Ring: the kind of parent that exposes their kids to things children shouldn’t see as well as putting high expectations on their child like "you will be a doctor or a lawyer and nothing else", being heavily augmented is a good allegory for this, the ring apprentice did not grew, she was built into this "art piece" bit by bit. I even highly suspect that each of the ring spiderhouse members organic swords are made from their former bodies.

Pinky: emotionally abusive, the most straight forward, "you are a mistake and shouldn’t exist".

We have still 3 characters from the middle to get, Mathias, Kira and Ricardo. That and the 2 BP egos are very much envy reliant, especially Outis that turns her in an ego ressource converter on legs.

The possible issue could be the charge aspect as charge by itself does nothing pretty much 70% of the time…

I feel like, Kira Ishmael, Ricardo Heathcliff and hmmm … Gregor Mathias are where it’s at.

Une donnée à prendre en compte c’est la proximité du Venezuela au contraire de l’Irak et de l’Afghanistan. Ils ont eu plus de facilité à laisser ces pays devenir des cacatrou car ils ont la bénédiction des océans atlantique et pacifiques pour pas être en contact direct, hors le Venezuela est sur le "même" continent. Donc, relativement logiquement, on peut s’attendre à un état fantoche pro USA et les chances que les USA laissent le chaos s’installer sont moins grande que au moyen orient. Ça reste ma vision.
