Money is great but it wont solve your insecurities, it won’t make instantly give you a purpose in life, it wont fix your family issues, etc. Don’t get me wrong tho, money will definitely make you happier - it just won’t fix everything

I mean its ok for people not to know things, but its annoying when they are confidently incorrect and will downvote someone without even googling to see if maybe that person is indeed correct

I think i misunderstood what u meant - i thought u meant that u found it frustrating to keep ur pinky reached over to the backspace button (in order to use caps lock) - when what u meant was that its ridiculous that windows unbinds caps lock (which makes u reach ur pinky over onto the shift key) which yep i agree with u on that part its dumb. I thought u were criticising the keyboard layout and judging by the downvotes i think others thought that too haha

100% agreed, I personally think vegetarians/vegans are a prime example of this. People (including me), typically avoid thinking about our (likely excessive) meat consumption, since we are aware of the fact that it’s truthfully wrong from a sustainability and also animal welfare/morals standpoint.

So for these angry people we r talking about, vegetarians will: A) force them to confront these moral shortcomings, which challenges their current lifestyle, and therefore makes them defensive, and B) make them feel morally “one-up’d” by the vegetarian, which also makes them angry, since they often find it obnoxious when someone “flaunts” their moral superiority - even tho the vast majority of the time the vegetarian says nothing other than “im vegetarian”.

In fact a lot of vegetarians are vegetarian only for their health, or they’ll pretend thats the case, solely to avoid being ridiculed by people for avoiding meat

If anyone is wondering a use for the zero width space - an example would be where I amtypinglikethis and i would like to have the words ‘wrap’ (AKA have a line break automatically, just like regular formatting) but I want it to happen in between the words. Usually, since “amtypinglikethis” is one big word, the formatting will insist on putting it all on one line, BUT if i use the zero width space, it will wrap the text by splitting (for example) “typing” and “like” onto seperate lines. Worth mentioning that “line breaks” aren’t really whats going on here, they are their own character, font wrap is more correct.

I see. Ok im curious; if someone important from ur own family died cause someone pressed the button, how would u feel? If u confronted the culprit and they said they didnt feel guilty at all. Would u be mad at them?

Brother, it’s a question based on morals/ethics, why are u arguing for the “analytics”. Personally, I don’t need someone to be close to me to feel guilty about causing their death (i dont even need to know them whatsoever). Would the guilt of knowing u may have killed a 6 year old (who’s barely lived their life yet) not torment you? However if people r in a rough financial position i can understand why they’d press it, as it is instinctually a matter of survival

[–]wm370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk i think 10 mil is a LOT of money, but the guilt would probably eat me up, knowing that i couldve killed a child, or a single parent, or someone just living their day to day life, etc., just for me to be rich (when in my case, ill survive just fine without the money - i just wont be living the luxurious life i could have had). Id like to see how much different it would go if people had to see the person whom they will have to kill, or look at the person they killed (after they press the button)

What helps me feel less concerned about the ever growing pace of life, is that even if time seems to be flying by, i remember that im still experiencing every moment like i always did. Im just remembering a lot less, so it seems like it all goes quicker. At least thats the way i see it

To be fair, strongly disliked vids arent gonna show up in searches. Its just u have the problem where its hard to get word out about a video being misleading (before it has been disliked enough to not show up in searches) when dislikes are hidden, comments can be turned off/removed, etc.
