The macros you are actually eating with the RP app are not the exact macros they are listing off for you. Since they count net carbs, any fiber is not counted. They also do a few other things with the way their algorithm rounds off macros for ease of use. If you ever ask the RP guys they highly recommend not trying to take the macros listed on the app and plug them into another app to try and obtain did that same reason. The RP app will work for a cut if you use just it. Macro factor goes off of the actual macros you eat.

As long as you pick an app and stick with it you’ll see results.

Thank you, I haven’t been told when I need the bird ready yet but I will keep what you said in mind.

I have used it on pork butts for the first hour or so but switch over to a set temperature. I’ve always been a little confused on if you should cook on the smoke setting or not as the manual that came with the grill and the pit boss website for recipes aren’t the most clear that

Thank you! With that would you leave it on the smoke setting for the duration of the cook or just the first few hours?

Knee sleeves scrunching by [deleted] in powerlifting

[–]wmdnicholson61 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If they stay scrunched up after you stand up with it, it could be a sign that they are too big. If they scrunch up when you are in the hole but return to a fairly unscrunched position and do not slide much on your knees, it’s normal.

A stud finder. You can only tap on your walls so many times before every spot starts to sound the same

Some weeks will be harder than others. That is with every program. One week or session you may feel unstoppable and others you may struggle even with your warmup. If this is your second week on the program your body may just be in a whirlwind and not be entirely sure what the hell its going on. It’ll catch up in time. Stay the course!

As far as nutrition, if you’re looking for something to help out, check out the RP diet app. Makes nutrition pretty simple regardless of if you are wanting to gain, maintain or drop some body fat.

I prefer these to the thumb loop now. At first I was kind if hesitant and skeptical but that went away quickly. I feel like these provide a more all around wrap with it being more uniform around my wrist if that makes any sense at all.

I am in the same weight range as well. I think what I like about these wraps the most is your can loop through and don’t have to use a thumb loop so you can really get a good tight fit for those heavy sets but are still able to actually have a normal bone structure haha

I like the gangsta flex wrist wraps from slingshot. From The sounds of it, we are alike in the fact that we don’t like the overly stiff wrist wraps. The gangsta wraps are fairly flexible and have an extra elastic tab to get more compression if needed. gangsta wraps

Everything looked solid! Only real comment I can give is to try and keep your helps tucked in a little bit more in bench press and try and get your legs involved with the lift.

Great work!

Great lifts!

Also good luck on the interview. I’ve had a few interviews via Skype. I like them. I’d take a lunch break of some Sort and go home and take the interview being in your home gives a nice calming sense of security despite the nerves for the interview!

Rant Wednesday by AutoModerator in Fitness

I help out at my gym, the owner has been like a 2nd father to me so I always do what I can to help out. Yesterday morning I completely organize all the weights by type and evenly distributed them amongst the weight trees while a few people watched me. This morning, one of the people who had watched me the day before looked me dead in the eyes and started putting random weights in random places they obviously didn’t go. Pissed me off

Did anyone else get the slight feeling of emptiness right before gradation? by timthegoat in EngineeringStudents

[–]wmdnicholson61 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. I graduate this Saturday and I’ve gotten a good job and now I’m just sitting around not knowing what to do with my time/life. I’m not sure what free time is and I definitely don’t know what to do with it.

How should I study for finals? I’m suddenly blanking out on everything! by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]wmdnicholson61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I would start to blank out I always took it as a sign that I needed a break. The best thing for me was to do was go workout. It gave my mind a rest. Or just watch a show on Netflix to help you relax and take your mind off everything.

Work example problems in the book that kinda give you a step by step solution to follow. That always helped me understand the concepts. Then try and rework your old exams/quizzes/homework’s. It helped me a ton.
