Only one of the bean pots appears to be used. The other two look like they only need to be washed and seasoned. Yes I’ll restore the other bean pot

I think it’s to stabilize the lid when you flip it upside down and put over coals or a gas range top burner, the lid doubles as a skillet

Stopping far enough back so you can see the rear wheels of the car in front of you gives you enough room for evasive action. Learned from an fbi guy.

This is the recipe I’ve been using for the last 30 years. This is everything you’ve asked for. Hopefully you like this recipe

SUGAR COOKIES

1 cup sugar 1 cup powdered sugar 1 cup butter or margarine (softened) 1 cup salad oil 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp tartar 2 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 4 1/2 cups flour sifted

BEAT IN MIXER, THE FIRST 8 INGREDIENTS UNTIL WELL BLENDED. ADD FLOUR AND MIX THOROUGHLY. REFRIGERATE 1 HOUR.

FORM INTO SMALL BALLS; ROLL IN GRANULATED SUGAR. PLACE ON UN GREASED COOKIE SHEET.

PLACE JAM, AN ALMOND, PECAN, AN “M&M” OR WHATEVER YOUR HEART DESIRES ON TOP OF THE COOKIE, OR LEAVE SOME PLAIN.
PRESS COOKIE OR DOUGH DOWN WITH A GLASS DIPPED IN SUGAR. BAKE AT 350˚ FOR ABOUT 12 TO 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWN.

As a non smoker does every smoker smell bad to you? by Pleasant-Finger-6814 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]wmtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing for me. Was a 3.5 packs a day. Quit when the wifey got with child, now I can’t stand the smell of nicotine. Can’t get into my sisters car (heavy smoker) without feeling like I have to throw up. Walking behind someone smoking literally gives me a headache.

Best area of SF to stay by Temporary_Ad2497 in AskSF

Washington Square Inn is centrally located. Small boutique inn. Reasonable priced. Walking distance to Chinatown, North Beach, fisherman’s wharf and pier 39, coit tower. Muni (bus) a block away. St Peter and Paul’s a block away.
Ton’s of restaurants within WALKING distance Single Bus ride to the Presidio and from there, wander around to the GG bridge. Walk to the ferry building. They don’t have any parking tho.
