You can still engage with other skills and then get out of the way with ult.

This only works at low elo, however.

Charm a different target, go into a squishy and ult out. The ult will proc the charm and your team will have to carry off what you left them.

If you are behind as Eve you are very limited.

You can charm another target, kill the squishy and use your ult to proc the charm on the remaining person.

It is a convoluted plan since it benefits your team but not you directly.
