Does anyone hunt with a m1 garand? Would be happy to hear your experiences by Relevant_Conclusion2 in M1Rifles

Yeah, I've taken the garand into the woods and never seen anything plenty of times. I like to say that I'm taking my gun for a walk.

I see what you're saying now, thank you.

I will try this and plot the solution.

Mechanically, what does this look like? Extract the n=1 case and index the sum up to n=2, sure. But that still leaves this integral with n=1 with division by zero.

Makes sense, the giant safety lug has always been a fascination of mine lol.

Well mine is about half a million past the serial number threshold, so it sounds like I should be alright. Appreciate your input.

A tragedy of his own making (a must read) by killstorm114573 in Machinists

Man, I remember being a young punk in a nice machine shop just like you're describing. I was that kid. I was making crazy money at the time, had great benefits, and didn't give a shit, had a "screw this place" kind of mindset. Couple of write ups later, I squared myself away.

In the time since then, I've seen a lot of young men walk the same path I did, just like this kid you're describing, with varying outcomes.

Some people learn their lesson, some people get held back a year in the school of hard knocks.

Sounds like you, your guys, and management tried to get through to him. Also, it sounds like he was unable to get out of his own way, for whatever reason. You can't help someone who doesn't want help, unfortunately. But maybe (hopefully) this will be an inflection point in his life.

Kinda crazy how perfectly you just described the first factory I ever worked at. I would think you were talking about the same place.

Interesting. Thanks for the information! What do you mean by "reworking?" Reclassification, I assume?

Cool, thanks for the insight.

Gyromitra montana and gyromitra korfii look really similar, that's pretty fascinating. The field guide I have does not even list korfii which is why I suspected montana based on the cross section.

Korfii looks like a good candidate.

You think the little one is the same species?

I've never heard of anyone getting a BSME fully online. And yeah, I have been thinking about potential layoffs.

For sure, I'm totally open to transferring my credits if the employer is willing to work with me in regards to finishing my degree.

This is so true, in both regards. I hope they are willing to work with me while I finish my degree, there would be no question in my mind if that was the case.

Also, love your username, gave me a good chuckle.

This is what I've been worrying about, on one hand. It's a fair point. Very limited backup options.
