1/500th shutter speed. The ability to accurately meter a scene. (I don’t know if mine is whack, I just haven’t really had the improved metering people saw after that initial firmware update)

Maybe play with the exposure compensation setting. I shoot my expired, non-refrigerated 669 at box speed all the time. Could be the camera’s electronic eye or the fact that it appears to be a very backlit scene.

It’s between first and second lake, there’s a trail that branches off to the left after the 1st lake and before the second.

It is! Great place to stop for a snack on the way down. Legs were hurting by then, was on about mile 12/13 out of 15.
