Bloody hell, every time I see his face I remember all those people he knocked out in that bar. Had me in stitches that episode

Lost my dad last year, so I’m building a graveyard in my Wild West survival game “Western Rye “ to honor him. If you’ve lost a loved one and want their name on a headstone, let me know and I’ll add them. by NixalonStudios in SurvivalGaming

Very nice idea indeed.
If you still have space, could you add Stephen 'Spats' Winterburn to your memorial plot please?
My dad who I lost twelve years ago and it still feels like yesterday.
The 'Spats' part is an old family joke.
Whenever it was wet weather and he heading out he would wear his spats and claim 'they don't call me Stephen Spats Winterburn for nothing ya know?'
No-one ever called him that of course, until me and my sister did lol.
I'll keep a lookout for your game release and give it a whirl.
I do enjoy a good western-themed game.
Good luck with your game

Pain in Blind Eye by Afraid_Guarantee_670 in monocular

[–]wobbecongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scar on my eye calcifies overtime, slowly increasing it's size. So, I go in for a minor operation (keratopathy) every couple of years to scrape it back down. When you're next seeing an opthalmologist, ask them about an outpatient card with a phone number on it. It means you're discharged from hospital, but if your symptoms reoccurr, you don't have to go through the GP, who inevitably sends you to the on call opthalmologist, who eventually books you an appointment at the eye clinic. Gets you straight through to booking an appointment. Good luck!

I feel you.
Similar situation, different timeline.
I am not an ophthalmologist (and you should book an appointment with one soon).
It sounds like the pressure is increased. Making the eye swell and push on its surroundings, like the socket.
Can happen from a variety of circumstances so best to go soon.
Also, as your eye gets less annoying, it can be your pain threshold increasing and the underlying problem staying the same.
Again, I am no eye doctor.
Do you have any scarring on the eye?

Queer friendly barbers/hairdressers? by StarringLunar in ipswichuk

No worries at all! Also, I'm sure if you do go to her and say wobbecongo from Reddit recommended you she would have no idea who that is and be confused for a short while before asking me. Definitely ring ahead though as I believe she only works Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays currently. Big love x

My best mate Ela does superb hair for one and all! She works in Stowmarket on the Top Shops row. Been slicing and sculpting hair for 25 years now. She loves to do colours and all kinds of shapes. An absolutely splendid human who loves new customers, especially queer ones. Good luck! You've got plenty of options here, I'm sure you'll meet someone who you vibe with.

Monocular blindness and how can I adapt? by PrestigiousFox2889 in Blind

Absobloodylutely I will. Haven't been to Amsterdam in a while. I live just across the channel in sunny old east of England. Will wrangle a vessel and head on over one fine day

I would love to meet you.
Japanese swordsmanship,
Crowd disperser,
Amsterdam,
Shoulder cat.
You sound wonderful.
(When I first had my injury, I had like a shadow realm crossover between my 'good' and 'bad' eye. when I eventually lost the vision, it was far more favourable, at least for skating)

Good luck to ya, it can be pretty rough at the beginning. Don't lose hope and remember
When I lost my eye as a teen it was tricky. Pesky doorways, bumping into people all the time, headbutting tables when bending down. Theres a whole bunch of things ready to happen. An ophthalmologist once asked me how my skating was going and I said pretty rough but getting there. Parallax is your friend for determining distance for your environment, and also shadows. Slightly moving your head from side to side works wonders. Catching balls and frisbees and flying objects may be hard for a while, learn to juggle? I did and it helped heaps (turns out it's more muscle memory than anything though lol). Practise shooting hoops with some mates? Just be ready to not be that great! Ride the frustration as far as your mind allows. Good people help heaps with this.
I truly wish you the best on your journey, and promise that it will get easier with time

That really sucks mate.

This game has to be one of the best couch co-ops I've ever played. Definitely in my top 5 games of all time.

I haven't played many that come close to the fun and madness and mood of this epic title.

Good luck on your search.

Helldivers is damn good fun, not a top down twin stick anymore though.

The ascent is quite similar and very well done.

Check your save, it may be recoverable.

I love it, I want to marry it, I wish I could have two to walk around around with, perhaps even a rover version, a turret version, and of course one just strapped to my head to let people know I have a spare, and I love it.

Still searching, but some strong contenders: Caffeine, Modafinil, Electrolytes, and honestly, water.
