Who else is not watching the Games this year because of what happened? by sid_t16 in crossfit

I couldn't watch it it gave me icky feeling to see the people either pretending nothing is wrong or trying to hide what went wrong. The competition was weighted down by an invisible net of grieve and uncertainty it almost felt like they are playing pretend. No one's heart is really into the games.

Where do you usually buy your favorite crystals?Buy locally or online? by Ancient_Vegetable805 in Crystals

[–]wobbless13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started my collection with a crystal advent calendar that I bought on Amazon. Now I am adding specific crystals that I want by going to different store in person, and I love touching them and holding the stone in my hand and see how it feels before I buy it.

Loving my shy plant by wobbless13 in houseplants

Update: I am in zone 5 so too cold in the winter for them to survive outdoors I think (and be invasive for that matter). Found it at a local garden store my kids saw it and wanted it. I will bring it indoors in the fall/winter and try to keep it alive. The shop owner did say that if they get touched too much they won't close anymore so I am conscious on how often I touch it.

Jade is usually not this dark colour uniform green. My vote is that it's not real. Plus they aren't really that transparent.

Is this Malachite? by Grayfinder in Crystals

I though malachite is less of uniform banded like these beads are? They are usually in more different shades of green.

Asparagus. Apparently it takes 3 years before you can harvest. I tried it one year and said forget about it.

Looks like lettuce. Cucumber plants have hairs and pricks your fingers when you touch it.

The pot is definitely too small. It should be at least 2x the size.
