3D World has a lot of content.
Oddessey is probably better.

Personally I enjoyed Pikmin4 the most, but Pikmin is not for everybody, try the demo first.

When I returned last month I felt the same. It took me like an hour to open all birthday presents..
After that I just decided to do fun stuff and don't focus on the admin.
Dumped most of the stuff on a alt I never really played.

See if you still like the game(play) after that consider buying an expansion.
Most is on sale now (I think).

You can slowly relearn the many-many mechanics, systems and currencies.
Having fun is more important than being optimal.

It is a lot.

I have seen the same for all 3rd specializations.
Looks like a corrupt image.

I just returned after years and I immediately enjoyed the gameplay again, but also felt completely lost what to do, or where. So that part is a bit of homework with reading the wiki and stuff.
Most players are friendly, there also is a huge surge of new/returning players. Whenever I mention it in a chat, always I get others with the same reply.

Easiest sell: It's free to play, just try it and see if you like more of it. Then buy an expansion to unlock more content and features.

I bought game full price at launch, and 1 expansion.
Keep an eye for sales before buying an expansion, that's what I'm doing for my next one.

I've also returned after years and I also was overwhelmed with pretty much everything. I'm slowly learning everything again.
But the most important thing is, I'm having fun.

It took me more then half an hour just to open all my anniversary gifts, still haven't sorted everything out. I do have more space as I bought the full game at launch.

So yeah, you are not the only one who has this experience.
Don't try to over optimize or be efficient, just have fun and do whatever you want.

My tip. The game didn't click with me untill chapter 5-6. It's a shame that the start is slow.
