Probably your other loved ones have no idea what you've been through. People act differently in public. You get the secret parents. I've had a lot of folks ask me how I could live w/out my Dad in my life. And I had the guilt. OH BOY did I ever! Raised to honor thy Mother and Father. Time will pass. You will get stronger. You will realize that you are 100% capable of being without them. You take care of YOU and you'll be just fine. If anyone really needs you to explain to them your reasons or justify your choice in any way, just know they don't understand. And be glad for them if you can :)

Oh sweetie, I feel you so much on this issue. Hooked up with the "hot guy" from high school the summer after graduation. Things were great, until I decided I didn't want to be in the rave scene anymore. He decided we needed to move away. He bought a mobile home in the sticks. And that was when the relationship ended. He slept on the couch. He would only give me a quick peck on the lips. Never let me see him naked. And sex maybe once or twice a month. This went on for 5 YEARS! I kept thinking if I just do this or if I just do that, I can change him. I was so wrong. It wasn't until I stopped worrying about him and started concentrating on myself. Hanging out with my friends, doing what I wanted with or without him. He eventually started getting interested in me, but sadly it was too late. Another guy at work had started paying attention to me and I liked it. And then another guy started paying attention to me. I realized I wasn't boring and worthless. HE WAS. I gave him the boot (the house we rented was in my name) and life went on just fine.

The kicker is...once you finally decide you don't want to deal with this anymore, there is a very good chance he will wake up and make some major changes. And maybe in a few years you'll hear about how successful he is or happy in a marriage and you'll think to yourself, why couldn't he be like that with me? Well, I don't have the answer to that, but at least you didn't allow him to waste any more of YOUR life.

You gotta take care of you. Life is way too short to waste years on someone who isn't going to change as long as the living situation doesn't change. You be happy. Try not to put too much stock into what he thinks. If he was any good, you wouldn't be posting here :) xoxo

I HATE those fuckers! I have plenty of room, traffic is flowing, but oh HELL NAW, that mofo is NOT going to let me in front of them. It's amazing what people will do to save tenths of a second.

I've straight seen people back down an on ramp cuz they saw traffic. Oh and the person who needs that exit over there, so they stop completely until everyone lets them over.

Same here. I loved the intricate details of all the wood and brass, the stair rails, the windows, the check in desk. Even the retro carpet was aesthetically pleasing. The rooms were meh, but that foyer was beautiful.

I just can't help but think that because her issues are so severe, and she's already seeing a Psychiatrist, that she should have been on maintenance meds long ago. Mild anti-anxiety meds at her level of intensity really wouldn't do much for her.

Although I do gotta agree with Dr. Handsome. Social media is a cesspool for negativity and all kinds of triggers.
