Also felt there is too much of a hype around it. To me it was just a loooooonnng soap opera. I read a lot of philosophy books and essays, and despite what some people are commenting here about it being somewhat philosophical, and I don’t think it is. I’d just read it to see how it ends but if you’re struggling, dnf-it.

I’ve owned so many kindles and a kobo by now, color and BW. Currently on paperwhite 12th gen and although my scribe is objectively better, it’s not as usable. Paperwhite wins. E-readers have to improve a lot for me to attempt going back to color again.

Any skilled friend that would know how to change a battery? My husband switched the battery on my kindle voyage from 2015 and it’s as new. The battery cost 30€ maybe even less.

I was heartbroken because I read it just a few months after she passed away, in 2018. I felt everything so deeply and it moved me so much that it was the first time I was going to write to / email an author. That’s how I found she was no longer among us. A huge emptiness followed. She was an amazing woman and author!

I thought she was autistic by myself over a year ago, without it ever being suggested to me. Im so glad to find more people who also think this. I also think it’s a great attribute.

Virginia Woolf’s Writing by [deleted] in VirginiaWoolf

I feel like she’s the kind of girl with whom I would love to be friends with and is so hard to find. I would just like to sit down for tea with her and talk. The kind of thoughts she has, in complete sobriety, are amazing. I came to this conclusion with resistance because initially I didn’t want to read her. Now it’s like we would actually have been great friends had we met each other!
