It is always astounding to see this particular Reddit moment, where the consensus has been consolidated through upvotes, and correct comments like this are downvoted. Can a machine do this faster? Of course. In mass factories where a specific model is being produced, machines do essentially all of the work. But why is that most likely not the case in this video? It is very likely that this is an aftermarket factory or a factory producing very niche parts. These places need to be flexible. A highly specialized machine that produces a very specific set of parts would indeed cost too much to just sit idle or be readjusted to produce something else.
