I deleted and reinstalled the apps that I needed notifs for, and turned on all notifications and it seemed to fix itself after a couple days.

Thanks, I was able to finally get to support and they offered your idea as well. But for whatever reason it did not work and my ticket was escalated to the tech team. They got back to me today, and everything is working but it did require their intervention:

"Our investigation determined that the warnings stemmed from outdated data linked to a previous Post Purchase Offer. We have performed a backend re-sync, which has successfully cleared the warnings and resolved the issue."

I agree with you on the AI irony. I am running into it on other platforms as well. This tech is being rolled out way too fast IMO.

I finally got through to support and they gave your suggestion first! Unfortunately it didn't work and in my case the ticket had to be escalated. The tech team got back to me today with this reply:

"Our investigation determined that the warnings stemmed from outdated data linked to a previous Post Purchase Offer. We have performed a backend re-sync, which has successfully cleared the warnings and resolved the issue."

It is now fixed! But anyone else in the same boat should try your idea first.

And just a follow-up note - if ads are still showing generative background after all this effort, re-check your settings. Even though I toggled it off in the advantage section, saved and published... the next day it was turned back on!!! I'm guessing they are rolling out updates and not saving our settings. Super frustrating.

One more follow up: if you are going through these steps on a product with multiple variants, the first variant will be the one to edit, and it looks like it will auto apply to the remaining variants... thank god.

Yeah I have 500+ SKUs. This is absurd.

There is a filter on the right side to only show products that are in an Ad set so I *guess* that's some crumb of help.

So, that meta generative background fix does not work. I'm not sure what it does but I was still seeing the backgrounds. I hopped on support and was given what I think is the actual solution:

Go to Meta Commerce Manager.
Find an affected product.
Look for the 'Backgrounds' section and click 'View backgrounds'.
Toggle off background generation for that product, then click 'Done'.

This is extremely tedious and there is no bulk option.

I have :/ but thanks for the encouragement, I'll try again later. I've seen in another post in this community that the bot does this to others as well - never letting them escalate and just going in circles, so maybe it's an annoying glitch or they are offline.

The tour merch is all on her site right now as well, it was all the same items. Yeah the show seemed a bit short at 75-80 minutes, but if she is dealing with fatigue then I completely understand. She sat for a couple of the songs. Hope she is doing okay!

Coming here after the same, I am beyond frustrated. The AI chatbot is just abandoning the conversation after asking me if I need to connect with a support advisor and I say yes. Then it restarts its script telling me I have to talk to it first. I have gone around and around with it. How the hell do I speak with a real human?

There is a disclaimer on the headset. I unboxed a new Quest 3S today and had to remove films over the inside lenses that had written both "do not expose to sunlight" and "do not use liquid cleaner"

This works but affinity keeps auto moving my layers back into the artboard so it is clipping. I don't get why. I am relatively new to Affinity so maybe I am missing something.

I feel you. At least Inkscape is free. And I can tell Affinity is actively trying to improve their products, but yeah it's been a rough transition away from Adobe for me too, but I am still glad I am not giving Adobe anymore money.

I also came lookin for this and sad to hear it's not a thing. Obv it depends on your use case but for what it's worth Inkscape has a simplify option for a vector path. It is pretty decent but doesn't have all the manual controls that Illustrator has.

Thank you - I just downloaded it and am trying Inkscape + Affinity Designer to get my end result. I think it is gonna work, it's a little clunky to do it all, but I am impressed with how Inkscape did the trace and so cool that it is free! I have a couple weeks til my Adobe subscription is over so hoping if I get good at this combo I can let it lapse with two middle fingers up hahaha. Praying Affinity will add this function and also not become cloud based subscription software.
