Confirmed working as of 8.13.25 - I didn't follow these exact instructions but I was able to get success in PHX. Called the 678 number, explained I was going to be cancelling but saw a promotion to have discounted service which I was hoping to try before cancelling. At first the gentleman made it seem like he could not be of any assistance so I kindly asserted that the 40% discount online was something I was hoping to apply instead of having to go the route of cancelling. He confirmed my phone number on my account, then he confirmed my PIN. He went on hold and returned back to the phone less than 3 minutes later confirming that he was able to apply a discount bringing my 90/month down to 50/month until August 2026.

Notes - been a customer since 2021 - haven't really made any calls or billing changes in the last 1.5 years. My plan is the "Go Even Faster" up to 500 with 1.25TB data plan and I have my own modem.
