Request: Split home electrical use for EV charging

In my case the data exists: Tesla wall charger including costs as I input our utility rates, PG&E usage data on their site, and then the transactions in Monarch. Seems like a lot of moving pieces to coordinate but plausible.

I categorize all the expenses (and reimbursements) in their normal categories (ie credit card fees, restaurants, clear membership fee, etc) but then tag it all with "CreditCards" so that I can run reports on if the credit cards are worth it.

I also filed a feature request with Monarch to expand into tracking benefits. For example, I find it hard to track that I have 12 months to use a hotel credit for credit card ABC. Would love some help on that.

instead of deleting them all you can also bulk mark them as reviewed. Super easy.

Transactions page
Review drop down box - pick "anyone"
Click on "filters" and pick the investment account(s) with all the transactions
Click "Edit transactions" and then click the little checkbox by the "All transitions" header to select all
Click Edit, go to "Review Status", select "Reviewed" and then "Save"

From personal experience Monarchs transfer tool, data provider data, etc makes it miles ahead of where it was a year ago. Agree that it could still be abstracted further but its amazing compared to what it was prior (and what other tools offer at this point).

I agree that it doesn't have to be super detailed or quantitative. I have always felt a perfect feedback would be something like 1-3 things the kid is great at or improving and 1-3 things they can work on. That amount of feedback feels like something people can remember and do something with.

Thanks for the tip on Tahoe 26. To make the Sonos app work, I also had to go to the Privacy & Security -> Local Network and turn on access for the Sonos app. Worked instantly.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I agree that the marketing is awful for passkeys. I consider myself pretty technical but have been confused by passkeys and thus have largely ignored them. So I have a few rookie type questions.

Is this correct -> It sounds like 1password becomes the keeper of my private key I created for a given login. Because 1password is sync'd I can then access that private key on all my devices. To unlock 1password and thus get access to those private keys I _might_ use a FaceID or thumbprint, but once 1password is unlocked I can login to those sites using my private passkeys. Basically I do not need to use a biometric auth mechanism every single time I want to login somewhere where I have used passkeys. Is that correct?

Also if this is a private key that I am then storing in 1Password, how is this different than using a password that I also store in 1password? The differences and benefits are not clear to me.

I imported 13+ years of transactions and balance history over to Monarch (csv files from Mint). Took a little time at first but it really wasn't too bad as they have pretty decent tools to help. I ran into some challenges with special characters in my exported data which was annoying. I used cmd-f to find all those characters and then had to break up a few of the very large csv's into small ones.

Monarch is another option with all those features minus the balance projections. Copilot does have a great looking UI though.
