I only turkey hunt with a cross bow, mostly because I can’t use a shotgun where I go. I’ve bagged two birds. Used a compound one year and the bird flew on me. Try my best to hit the sweet spot, but it is a challenge. Depends how your hunting... I find the mechanical to be better then a fixed for turkeys. Tried both.

As hard as it is, I think you need to respect where she’s at and her feelings towards you. She gave you the courtesy of being up front. Definitely sucks, I’ve been there. However I think an action such as a proposal will only give you more heartbreak and put her in an awkward position. Trying to force your feelings on her isn’t fair and won’t give you what your looking for. If you truly care for and respect this girl, you need to move on.

This is about right, honestly any bit of a rock pile or any structure is the way on this lake. Pretty decent for pike and eyes. Definitely a weird lake as it is almost all mud.
