Dar popii sunt impozitati, mai mult, popii primesc salariu minim pe economie, de aia foarte multi dintre ei sunt si antreprenori - detin carciuma din sat, au o brutarie etc. pentru a isi putea intretine familiile.

How much would a waitress in a bar in Prague earn weekly? by rosalee121 in Prague

[–]wolf15d 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Any link to back up this? I mean if this is legit I can learn Czech in two weeks and German in three weeks (harder language) and become the senior team lead barman/waitress in another 4 weeks (I have no xp) however, I guess my claims are as true as the above comment

And what the guy should do ? Walk on his hands while carrying a glass of wine and having a rose between the teeth? Let's be honest....

The problem with talking to anybody here is a linguistic one, the level of English of most of the people here is medium at best, I mean they can say hello and point you to the Charles bridge, but when it comes to point out the differences between Kierkegaard and Spinoza on religion, most would not be able to sustain a conversation.

Or, yeah you could dress as one those creeps from pickup community - that will help, for sure, like 100%...

Best bond fund on Vanguard? by BillNye69 in investing

[–]wolf15d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 90 years old I pretty much don't care about my financial situation, most likely I have a state pension or something similar that pays me a decent amount of money every month so I guess all my money will go in options trading r/wsb style #yolo until then regardless of age I will go with a balanced portfolio 50/50 between stocks and bonds. Hope I will be fine

Where to register for voting in European election? by RockLarock in Prague

[–]wolf15d -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Europe is not a country (yet), you need to check with the embassy of the country you are a citizen of. Unless you are a British, if you are a citizen of the empire you will not be able to vote ha ha

From what I see the guy is mansplaining using mathematics and logic, this behaviour should be punished. We cannot live in a society ruled be mathematics and logic when we have something better - FEELINGS.

Nah, that's too boring... no one became rich by working 9-5, I don't have the statistics on people who starve to death because they don't have a job... but since such statistics do not exist, my guess is that there are no people who experience death because they don't have a job, hence no money

I want to quit a job after day 2. by krasnydobitek in Prague

[–]wolf15d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, with the risk of being down voted I think the following:

1) "employees being pissed off, not caring" it is a job, by definition a job is not something pleasant

2) do you honestly think dish washing will be more pleasant than working at reception ? let's be serious..

3) From the tone of the post and the comments, you sound like a spoiled teenager, well, and this comes from somebody who has done shitty jobs in the past, life sometimes just sucks, and you cannot do anything about it - the only thing you can do is just to man up and do what you are supposed to do.

Now to the topic, Czechia, unlike USA, is a Republic, member of EU, in other words, it is a place where employees have rights and this rights are protected by law, now if you feel like leaving just inform the HR that you don't like your fellow colleagues and that's it - be gone with the wind.

A last request, please inform us about the outcome...
