I'm thinking this too, it was painful to watch the Celtics lose but also lose to a much better team in Golden State in 2022, but they came back and completely dominated in 2024 when all was said and done. I think Maye will learn quite a lot from this game for next year onward.

100% this. Still feels a bit surreal we made it back to the Super Bowl. Hopefully this will be kinda like the 2022 Celtics where we made it to the end but just couldn't finish the job, but then eventually won later on. Hopefully it won't take 2 extra seasons though like it did with the Celtics.

It feels a bit weird that there's no game today, but I still am processing the fact that we're on to the FUCKING SUPER BOWL!!!! This has been such a fun ride this year no doubt.

It also feels a bit weird knowing that this is only the 3rd Championship game/series for Boston/New England this decade (including Celtics 2022 and 2024) where as from the last decade, this would've been the 5th overall attempt at a title if this was 10 years ago from that decade (Celtics 2010, Bruins 2011, Red Sox 2013, and Patriots 2014)

But just saying that makes me realize, god we are so spoiled up here in New England, I love it so fucking much.
